@McDuck I think I planned it such that I was going to do a whole new civ for India (and for Gandhi) - a modern one. The War Elephant and Stepwell are both ancient. That's why.

It is okay to put Ashoka as Maurya, since he was Chandragupta's grandson. However, neither Gandhi nor Rudrama Devi were Mauryans

In fact, it changes all Indian civilizations to Maurya: I played Ashoka and Rudrama Devi in the same game, and all Indian civilizations were changed to Maurya

This mod corrects Chandragupta as the ruler of the Mauryas, but it also has the same effect on Gandhi - makes him the Maurya leader as well. Can it be fixed to not do that, maybe making it dependent on the leader rather than the civilization?

@-DI- Blkbutterfly: Appreciate the addition of Chandragupta, but the capital of the Mauryas was not the modern day village of Patna. Rather it was the glorious city of Pataliputra, its famous predesessor.

Also, Gandhi never led India. Nehru did. (And Indira and Sanji Gandhi, who aren't really related to Gandhi, however.)

@McDuck No. The "India" I'm planning to mod is the one founded in 1947. Gandhi will be its leader. Later I'll add Indira Gandhi.

I want to use some of the new systems from R&F (E.g: loyalty and governors) so I'm not developing it yet. I'm working on a new map (my last prolly).

Also, if you are doing an Indira Gandhi, a Narendra Modi (India's current leader) would be great as well

If you are doing that, can you add 2 more Indian leaders - Prithviraj Chauhan and Hemu? The ones whose capital would still be Delhi.

This mod simply renames India, no matter what - so that even Gandhi becomes leader of the Mauryas (ROFL)

All the Indian civs should be renamed - like Rudrama Devi of the Kakatiyas, Ashoka of the Mauryas and so on. I like getting rid of Gandhi }:-)

When the expansion Rise & Falls ships Chandragupta will automatically be the leader of The Maurya (cos this mod just renames India).

That leaves Gandhi a displaced hobo...so it's time to develop a modern India civ
