well, it managed to finish last night, finally. the bitrate kept dropping to like 70 bytes/second, and it took about 2 hours to download x.x but it's all good now :)

Seems to be client/workshop side, if it doesn't work directly or your archive is corrupt then manually delete it from your addons folder and let workshop redownload it.
