Just installed this Mod, and im not getting any resources or trays showing up on the top bar.
Mind you, this is my first time installing a Civ 6 Mod, but it does say it's enabled in the Mod List.
Any idea what im doing wrong here?

It feels there's something off with "maxSize" calculation. Vanilla "META_PADDING" is 100, and this mod is 200. TopPanel_Expansion2.lua "maxSize" calculation does not compute "m_viewReportsX". I'm on 1920x1200 resolution. Decreasing "defaultMaxResourceSize" from mod default 550 to 420 works better for me. Still, "doubleSize" does not behave as expected, for the "Luxury" box does not fit with "Bonus" when "unlocked", but goes over, further to the right. When ""defaultMaxResourceSize" is set to 420 is nearly matches for me, just a tad shorter.

Also, Modding.log says "[74468.704] ERROR: Invalid file reference in action, did you forgot to add it in <Files>? - Expansion2/TopPanel_Expansion1.lua" but the file doesn't exist?

Most times the resource list overlaps the vanilla top right corner info - please fix/help?
Sometimes it does collapse properly, into a "+" sign. No clue when or why this happens. Maybe it cannot handle too many resources from "Resourceful 2" mod? snipboard.io/m1MNYT.jpg

Just wanna report an issue that I think is issue of this mod, in my game cattle shows 65535. Actualy production unchanged.

Its kind of a know thing about this mod, that the icons go over. You either have to turn some off and not have bonus show with luxury. I can see this going way far over with modded resources. I personally thing when it gets close over the right side, there should be a scroll in place if it wants to go over.

I honestly don't use this mod anymore, makes the top bar cluttered. I use to use it for Luxury and Strategic resources. But I find now I like the use the default way to see what Luxuries I have, in the World Resource menu. Gives me an excuse to dig around in menus.

Yeah I agree with @pauloel7 : resources tend to go over menu buttons (i'm using Luxury Resource Variety, it doesn't help btw). When I right click to hide a rsource kind, it reappears when I relaunch the game. Otherwise it is a great mod :)

Hi. Any chance of space optimization, so as to avoid icons going over and missing to the right?
Maybe restraining luxuries and bonus max size and implementing a roll/scroll functionality?

We play in MP, build mines on Iron for example but we dont have iron and cant build swordsmen etc. Could it be this mod ?

So its definitely a me problem I think, but when this is enabled I can see everything else being tracked but not the strategic resources. Did I find a way to accidentally turn this off? xD

It seems in my game the Bonus resources don't know when to stop on the right side. I am also using Concise UI. Even when in ghost mode, they project too far over.

Ok think I fixed it. Found some bad logic on when to hide/unhide the trays if they are empty or not. (Mainly for start of the game to avoid empty trays showing at the top). It was unhiding because they were not empty, but not taking into account if the user wanted it hidden by preference.

Added some extra criteria and seems to be working as intended for me now. Let me know if you spot any other issues!

Yeah when I close one out, during the turn cycle when AI are moving, it shows grayed out. The disappears like normal again. But during turn cycle if I touch the grayed out icon it will stay on. That is the way it seems for me.

Thanks for updating! Glancing at the luxuries is really helpful. I perhaps noticed a bug. I prefer to hide the bonus resources tray but it sort of resets at the begenning of each turn (it re-appears but greyed out) I have to re-hide it every time.

Alright! Finally updated.

I reworked this mod a bit. I've split each resource type into its own 'tray' on the top bar. You can lock or unlock these from the bar by clicking the new tray bracket for each type.

Hovering over the bar with your mouse will make all resources visible, so you can also just ping your mouse to the top to get a quick look at your resources without locking them in if you prefer.

As a note, currently requires Gathering Storm to work. I'll look into compatibility with RF and Base soon.

are you able to update this? Not sure if, at least for GS-gamemode, the UI must be changed... but I guess while not playing GS-gamemode, we the CompatibilityVersions 2 in modinfo is enough.

Is there a way to save the state of the mod? For example if I have it set to show Luxury and I save the game and close out the game. If I come back later to play game, have it still show Luxury.

for some reason it does not cycle for me...it shows the trade route symbol and iron symbol...and I can see the number of horses, but when i left click OR right click on the trade/iron button nothing happens

@gim31bert I'm not sure what you mean. This is only a UI edit to allow you to cycle which resources are shown at the top of the screen. Does not affect the AI in any way.

This is now compatible with the latest update and expansion. I also took this oppurtunity to redesign and improve the mod. I feel it now fits better the game UI and is better at showing which resource type is active.
