I love this mod, it makes surviving a lot easier and I like playing as him. Are you thinking of making Leo too?

when i tryed to play as takumi and i keep on getting killed for the nightmare because i couldnt sleep the tents didnt work and mats didnt work. so yeah i dont know what to do with takumi. but hes there.

o/ i believe theres some kind of glitch not sure, after using the master seal in increase my lvl cap, I was able to use a tent no problem. After dying once and my friend reviving me, I was unable to reuse the tent

I've seen a few mods with sanity based transformations. Do you think you could have him turn into his Betrayal/Fallen form when his sanity drops to a certain point? It doesn't have to do anything, I just think it would be cool.

@CloudyVenom, We didn't make any changes related to sewing kit for Takumi. I suspect the issue is caused by another mod. I don't have any problems with the sewing kit when using Takumi.

Is Takumi meant to be unable to use the sewing kit or is this a bug?

It's kind of like using the base Fujin Yumi vs +7 Killing/Silver Bow or something. There are more damaging weapons out there so it wouldn't make sense to nerf the base weapon.

I don't believe shooting the bow should be nerfed when hambats exist, good players miss out on DPS using the bow anyway.

And thanks for the feedback on balance! We agree that Takumi's bow is a little overpowered and may want to tweak it in the future.

I'm wondering if anyone playing the mod would prefer not to have the bow nerfed? Thinking about whether to have the nerf as another configuration, or to straight up modify the base mod

@ZalaPao666 and @Spirit - Thanks for pointing out the bugs you've noticed! I've noted them down to look into.

I also feel that adding a tax to using the bow would be a good addition for the sake of balance.

Excellent DST character! I love the speed and mechanics to him. The only thing is that I believe the bow attack should expend a bit of hunger (around 2) when he shoots as currently there is no downside to killing everything you see with minimal effort.

Additionally, a bug I found is that when Takumi dies in game he loses all of his speed for the session. If you disconnect and reconnect to the game you regain all your lost stats though so just a minor bug.

@DemonicAngelKeenan Look at his base stats. He has insomnia.

I noticed a problem with using him, this might just be me but I notice that I can't make him go to sleep, I can't get him to use the tent the siesta or the straw roll. has anyone else experienced this or is it just me being stupid and I'm missing something?

@FoxgamerBR12 We did consider making different classes for Skadi Takumi and Flyer Takumi, but we were too busy to work on the art.

I just love this mod! its perfect!

i think it woud be cool if you were able to choose to wich class will you evolve when using the master seal, or you can do 2 different seals, like, one seal for Sniper(Fujin Yumi will deal more damage) and other for Kenshin Knight(He will unlock a craftable spear that will deal a good amount of damage, and, optional, a new pet, maybe a bird?)

And i woud love if you both maked more Fire Emblem Fates mods here in Don't Starve Togheter, i just love the Takumi art stlye, and i think Ryouma woud be an easy one to make, you guys just need to make his Katana, make the katana able to attack from distance, make his model, and i think the rest it woud be all like Takumi, the master seal, the katana woud have light like the Fujin Yumi.

Oh, and sorry for the big comment, i just wanted to send some tips to you guys.

The Server crashes, when I move my mouse over the Seal. I spawned it.. everything okay. I moved my courser over it -> crash (it also has no name ingame)

I gave it myself by the console, after that -> Server crash

I subscribed to download but no download. I am a noob at Steam and all it's workings.

@TheInfiltrator Were you on a dedicated server/server with caves? That may be why the error message isn't showing. We're still looking into this issue.

To get around the error, you could try spawning the seal. Have the owner of the server open the console (press the ~ button and a new window will popup). Enter c_give("takumi_seal") and the seal should appear in your inventory. Try this and lmk if it still crashes.

It would help if I could see the error log. Right after the crash, go to
C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether and there is a file called client_log. It's a big file so you can e-mail me at picolitrosso@gmail.com if you're comfortable.

There was no Error message, The Server just closed, after crafting it. May u help out?

the lvling item keeps crashing me

The Fujin Yumi is now craftable. Make your own divine weapon at the cost of 10 rocks and 10 gold! (made cheap as losing the weapon is not an intended experience)

Tested the bow and seal. Both are non flamable. Probably some strange mod on mod interaction going on. Best soluiton is to make the bow craftable in case something goes wrong.

@a blue dog yes, you can get them back. If you have the owner of the server open up the console (press the ~ button), type in the command c_spawn("yumi") to spawn the fujin yumi and c_spawn("takumi_seal") to spawn the master seal. Will look into making the bow non-flammable in a future update

heya! uhh, it seems that at one point after we died, the person in the server playing as takumi lost both the fujin yumi and the master seal supposedly in a fire since fire hounds like to be jerks. is there any way to possibly get them back- specifically the bow- should they be lost forever? any spawn command for them, etc? QQ

@Minatoxaki Hmm, we tested out your mods but didn't run into the crash. Just to be sure, could you try disabling your other mods and crafting the seal? If the game still crashes, there is a way you can share the error. Right after the crash, go to

Okay so we are playing with a party of 3. We all use the same mods though. Campfire respawn, Cherry Forest, Hwarang, Monster Liars, Abigail Calls, Food Values, Global Positions, Magic Bottles. Those are the ones we use on the server. And the error message is just the standard "Connection Failed" Message . I'm not sure if this was descriptive enough because I have no idea how to use steam community and stuff. But thank you and I'm sorry.

@Minatoxaki Thanks for letting us know. Could you tell us what other mods you were using at the same time? We tried to reproduce the issue but crafting the seal didn't crash our game, so we suspect it might be a mod incompatibility issue
