I uploaded (with Pouakai's permission) a version of this mod that is compatible with Workable Mountains.

Name -> Paro Taktsang for Workable Mountains
El Tório 27. sep. 2021 kl. 20:44
As written, this mod is not compatible with Workable Mountains by Keukotis, as they use different Features to apply their yields. I've tweaked a version of this mod (Paro Taktsang) to use the keyword from Workable Mountains, and it works well. Mod authors, may I upload this variant / mod? Attribution and credit for the original and it's artwork would be provided.

Can you make this compatable with the workable mountains mod?
Aylita 27. dec. 2016 kl. 3:57
Good Mod, thank ypi
Crimson13 21. sep. 2015 kl. 1:25
Just a heads up, it seems like this mod makes using the Inca from the Community Patch Project unable to use their UA which is the ability to cross mountains. I don't know if it would cause problems using Dido from a vanilla game but I thought it might help if anyone has the same issue.

@Silverfishv9 -- It works with Tibet - I just built it as Tibet. It doesnt show on the tech tree, but its there.
Lortos 21. mar. 2015 kl. 16:07
Good Mod
Rootimus 16. jan. 2015 kl. 15:43
Thank-you
Silverfishv9 23. dec. 2014 kl. 10:51
Pouakai, why are two of your OWN MODS incompatible? This doesn't work with your tibetan civilization...
BinderAJ 8. dec. 2014 kl. 17:18
Just wanted to mention that this wonder does not appear to be compatible with the "workable mountains" mod, since i am getting all the food/hammers/faith bonuses from the buildings for the mountains worked by the city, but not the culture bonuses.
Venusaisha 22. dec. 2013 kl. 22:19
cool
woody4077 9. nov. 2013 kl. 20:07
needs to be revised, says 1 culture 1 faith from mountain titles problem is it ONLY works in the city in which you build it does not work on any mountain titles NOT near the city that builds it.
VNMZ 9. feb. 2013 kl. 4:34
I still don't get it! -_-
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 7. feb. 2013 kl. 10:48
I often get the issue too, I have no idea what causes it. The only thing I can suggest is to have autosave set to every turn and just load the most recent save and play from there
finepine69 7. feb. 2013 kl. 9:49
I really like the mods but I find my game crashes/freezes around the 200 turn point. Has this happen to anyone else?
udhessi 5. feb. 2013 kl. 23:33
@BirdOfPrey115: verify they actually are in the "mods" file on your computer (probably something like ...\My Games\sid Meier's Civ 5\MODS). if not, you'll have redownload them.
Anyway, you have to activate them everytime you start a new game (once you're in the MODS menu, the program will propose the same selection as the last time you played with mods and you can make your new selection from there). If you don't do anything special when starting a new game, the program will go back to its default config : all the DLC you've bought, but no mod.

I didn't see any of the wonders in the civalopedia. i had also installed other mods before that, and assumed they had been working, but now that I checked civilopedia, I realized that none of my mods are working.
udhessi 5. feb. 2013 kl. 15:14
@BirdOfPrey115: nope. Having Civ V and GK installed correctly should be enough to have Pouakai's wonders working (I assume you're on PC, not MAC). Can you find them in the civilopedia when you're in the game ? (if not, don't even bother playing the first turn)
FUNGUS 5. feb. 2013 kl. 15:02
Is there anything extra I need to Download besides Gods and Kings?
FUNGUS 5. feb. 2013 kl. 15:01
Yes I have
udhessi 5. feb. 2013 kl. 14:59
@BirdOfPrey115: just to check the basics, you've activated them in the game right ? (select "MODS" in the first menu, "accept", select the mods you want to activate from the list of those you've downloaded, "next", "single player" and from there, the normal modless routine)
FUNGUS 5. feb. 2013 kl. 14:48
i have downloaded many mods that add wonders into the game. For some reason none of them are working. I do have the Gods and Kings DLC. If anyone knows why please help.
udhessi 5. feb. 2013 kl. 14:44
@Moriboe, @Pouakai : you're right, fixing Amber fort is just dreadful. The best idea I could come up with to do it without wiping out existing tile features is to create a brand new FakeFeature. But finding out how to make it work is a real nightmare.
3u_ceo 5. feb. 2013 kl. 8:18
Not bad.
Moriboe  [ophavsmand] 5. feb. 2013 kl. 5:57
@udhessi: Exactly.
NooM 4. feb. 2013 kl. 17:57
glad to be of help!
udhessi 4. feb. 2013 kl. 14:49
perhaps just by removing the line Impassable = true in the ski feature definition ?
Moriboe  [ophavsmand] 4. feb. 2013 kl. 14:29
Thanks for reporting! It will be fixed soon.
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 4. feb. 2013 kl. 0:12
It hasn't been brought to my attention (before now) but I'm not surprised. I'll talk to Moriboe and see if we can come up with something
NooM 3. feb. 2013 kl. 22:20
Hi,
I dunno if that problem has already been brought to your attention, but I recently noticed, that with this mod activated, carthage is restricted from crossing mountain tiles even after they've earned their first Great General. I tested it multiple times and I can confirm that its caused by this mod. Besides that its a nicely done mod;)
Hope this helps!
Mortil 3. feb. 2013 kl. 3:09
i like it its allso quite balanced!
VNMZ 3. feb. 2013 kl. 2:09
-_-
framedarchitecture 2. feb. 2013 kl. 20:57
It's a very creative special ability! Thank you!
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 2. feb. 2013 kl. 18:33
@udhessi: I was talking to Moriboe, who wrote the Lua for this, and he reckons that you'll have a lot more issues with Hills as they have other features with them (eg. Forests), so there might be an issue with this code. It could be worth a shot, but I doubt it'll work.
@LABullDaddy: Cheers - The Abmed Baba institute could work as a wonder, I'll need to check it out a bit more. Also, the Roman Colosseum has been done as a wonder by Ambrox62 (albeit for Vanilla and not G&K) under the title The Flavian Amphitheatre
udhessi 2. feb. 2013 kl. 17:35
I suppose that if I want to get the Amber fort wonder to work, I have to try and mimic what you've done with this one ?
HAL9000 2. feb. 2013 kl. 16:30
Like many of your other works...looks awesome.
I wonder if in light of recent events, you could try for the Library at Timbuktu. And I also don't remember ever seeing the Roman Colosseum!
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 2. feb. 2013 kl. 14:52
The way this works is it changes mountains to a feature, and so if you're in the desert for example they will be Desert, Mountain. This means you'll get all other benefits on said terrain type on the tile
Repeat 2. feb. 2013 kl. 14:06
the wonder is great, but 1 culture and one faith for a tile which originally provides nothing.... Even if i built this wonder in a game I probably wouldn't put any of my citz on mountains... They could be put to better tiles. What I am saying is that if you are going to provide a bonus at all, it should be a bigger one
Delport Breckland 2. feb. 2013 kl. 13:51
I am a huge fan of Tiger's Nest, excellent choice for a wonder, Poukai. Also, the flavor of the enefits is well-chosen and balance seems good. Great Job!
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. 2013 kl. 16:53
v2 updated, fixing leftover Itsukushima Shrine effects
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. 2013 kl. 16:28
Whoops, thanks for picking that up. I'll fix that soon
udhessi 1. feb. 2013 kl. 15:18
er... looks like there are some remnants of the Itsukushima shrine wonder left in the buildings.xml (+2 faith on sea resources)
framedarchitecture 1. feb. 2013 kl. 12:07
@hexhunter Minor civs have an "all or nothing" switch for buildings and units. However this could certainly be done with lua. Wouldn't it suck to get beaten to the punch by a minor?
Mister Molecule 1. feb. 2013 kl. 4:08
thats a damn good idea from hexhunter
hexhunter 31. jan. 2013 kl. 11:31
This looks great, if only someone would make a mod so that city-states would try to build the wonders which belong to them.
dustincord 30. jan. 2013 kl. 13:48
i goddamn love you wonders, man. don't ever stop.
track the dog 28. jan. 2013 kl. 13:42
Very interesting mod, I like how it's very unique and not overpowered at all.
