@ScropinKing: Probably not, this mod was made so I can learn how to edit textures. The textures themselves are very low quality and I currently have lots of other mods and projects to finish before even thinking about porting this one.

@arigahan: It's save game compatible, but incompatible with any mod that changes the VMD of skinks or saurus (any reskin mod basically).

@Neferata13: Haven't tested this mod in a long time but it should work as long as the variantmeshdefinition file names in the game stay the same (and i am about 99.9% sure they will). As for compatibility with any reskin mod: it won't cause any crashes or anything like that but as both mods change the same files, only the changes of one mod will be applied because the other one will be overwritten basically.

I saw your reply earlier but I was having computer problems, and I just waited to say thank you for the reply. Believe it or not the weapons have grown on me, so you don't really have to worry about it unless you want to, and since you are busy with life, and projects you don't have to respond with a reply to be nice. Great job with this mod and have a great day.

@flameknightjack: I am glad you enjoy the mod, but as textures are not my strong suit and i have lots of other projects in the works right now, i don't think i'll have the time to do a retexture for saurus weapons anytime soon.

I was wondering if you could do something similar for the weapons that the saurus warriors use and I think even the oldblood. For the saurus club versions ,and the weapon the oldblood uses, could you make it so that the tips are black like the spears? It feels a little weird that the tips are gold, and in the lore the tips are the black obsinite. If it is not possible to do, then could you try to put that texture on the stone parts that are not the handle of the weapon, like the sphere part of the mace, the rectangle part the other hand weapons, or the serpent picture on the oldblood weapon . It would add contrast to the gold, it would make the use of such a material more evident, and it worked really well for the temple guard. If you can't, then sorry to bother you and thank you for looking. Great job on this mod by the way, the shields are great.

@thegron: I don't think it is, sorry. Even if it were it would not fit with dryrains high quality textures, as these are very simple. I just created these to learn how to replace textures and so on.

Of course, load order! I'm using a mod manager so I should be able to fix that, or I'll just rename your mod with an @ so it is higher up in the load order.

@[RoC] Erwin: it probably has something to do with the order the mods are loaded in. I think before it was overriding the variantmesh from the other mod, so the shields were working. Changing variantmeshes is really easy, you can make the change you want within a few minutes, but you will have to do it again everytime the mod gets updated. Good luck

Fair enough. Something must've changed with his though, since previously I had both active and skink shields were fine. Thanks for the advice. :)

@[RoC] Erwin: It is because both mods change the variantmeshes for the same units. The only way to have both active at the same time is to merge the variantmeshes. Either copy the section with shields (weaponslot 2) from my mod and replace it in the other mod, or copy everything from the other mod (except the shields section) and replace it in the variantmeshes of this mod.

I was using this with Ado's Lizardmen Colour Variation mod and for some reason the skink shields of yours stopped working because of it. Is there any way to fix that? I never used to have an issue with the two since Ado's mod only affects the bodies of lizardmen, not the shields.
