My graphics card isn't good at rendering particles, on GTA San Andreas (weather, rain), Minecraft (rain, snow, and most particles), and in Don't Starve, the game gets all laggy on winter (snowing).

I hope this works because when I play hamlet during humid season it lags so bad during heavy rain I can barely move.

Added Hamlet support, technically it was already compatible, the rain system isn't changed in hamlet. But now it appears compatible also in the mod section in game!

I did a little update,now you can set also the snow particle ammount in the config,the snow don't do so much lag as the rain,but now you can remove it if you want.

And for the plants things,i know that lag problem with them,i was testing something to deal with it.

@Vinicius, its impossible to fix directly, if I understand why it happens right. You can make structure, that will act as few plants at once, actually. But its kinda meh idea
