-extracting the .vpk in question (GCFscape or other software will do)
-go to the new extracted folder.
-deleting the "damagecutout" files in the script folder if you want to force the gore
-deleting the sounds folder to disable custom sounds.
It can get reallly janky, so you might have to disable shadows or make other adjustments to disable some of the more severe glitches. but it provides a more impactful experience for CI mods.
Adding more Zombie Textures
idk why people in comments are saying theres alot of problems with it
this mod works fine for me
i even have a cs source knife holding animation mod for common infected and it works with this mod
-Silent Hill: Otherside of Life (example)
you can now get an add-on to this mod which replaces the l4d1 common/uncommon infected.
