just don't pirate the game then you don't need it on mod.io
martingolding96 24. aug. 2023 kl. 22:48
I don't have a PC at the moment that's why I was asking for it to be uploaded to the mod.io site
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 24. aug. 2023 kl. 8:03
martingolding96, u can do it yourself. You have the right to freely re-upload and modify the content. :2018bestaward:

do what you want. I give permission to use my mods to improve them with reference to the original.:eng:
Looterich_(AUT) 12. nov. 2022 kl. 16:37
would ask for permission to pack the cargos and the modules into one mod and may tweak it a bit for our survival-server, with credits and reference to your original item for sure
Looterich_(AUT) 15. juli 2022 kl. 8:14
perfect! this was whate we have been searching for our server!
many thx man works great and all buddies love it!

@UnseenOni i knew that. but better late than never. as the mood appeared, so I tweaked the mod. :eng:
UnseenOni 21. jan. 2020 kl. 6:21
Dude, you need to check Date Stamps on posts, that was from August last year.................LMAO
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 21. jan. 2020 kl. 2:45
@UnseenOni, check...
UnseenOni 16. aug. 2019 kl. 21:32
Would it be possible for you to make the components you use for this smaller in size so they can fit through small grid small conveyor tubes? That way those using mods like Small Ship Mega Mod Pack can still produce them from the small grid assembler and have them be able to transport through pipes without needing large pipes.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2019 kl. 23:13
Fixed...
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2019 kl. 12:43
got it here is a screenshot of the table, it should correspond to it. It looks like a mistake I will fix soon.
Erythion 27. mar. 2019 kl. 11:17
Large grid large cargo 2x needs mk3 device, 4x mk4, etc.. large grid small cargo 2x needs mk2, 4x mk3, 8x, 16x, 32x mk4.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2019 kl. 11:07
Erythion, can you give an example?
Erythion 27. mar. 2019 kl. 10:55
The device tier and block tier don't match up well. It looks like the 16x and 32x tier device costs hasn't been matched up to the proper device tier

Updated to release. Adding x16,x32. Mass fixing...
Zantulo 10. nov. 2018 kl. 12:24
Awesome concept! Tiered everything FTW.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 2. nov. 2018 kl. 3:31
:bot_i: Fixed. Recalculated mass and component cost. update block description up to 1.188.024 :first_star:
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 11:48
Like I said, I'm using the Tiered Thruster pack, and my airship had 40 Tier 4 atmos thrusters and 4 of the new 3x3 Hover Engines and it still wouldn't budge.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 9:46
the main thing is to compensate for the advantages given, the complexity of their acquisition. mass + component ~ volume and at the same size of the container.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 9:43
I understand that it seems to you that it's a bit heavy. But the weight of the container and the complexity of its build, is compensated by its volume. If you do not have the traction to carry such containers in the atmosphere, it is worth thinking about how to carry them in space. I agree that it may be necessary to reconsider the overall weight. But in any case, you need a lot more calculations to conduct and tests. for this you need to contemplate other mod, such as tiere gyro, tiered thrusters. so i need time to analyze it. i'll build some test ships tomorrow
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 8:40
I've done the math, effectively your Tier 4 cargo containers weigh 40x's the Vanilla version, and yett only provide 8x's the original cargo space.
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 8:29
Let me lay this out to you as simply as possible.

Vanilla Large Cargo Container weighs = 29,000 KG (roughly)
Your Large Tier 4 Cargo Container weighs = 1,100,849 KG (roughly)

Your cargo container weighs almost 1.1 million KG more than a vanilla cargo container

My Large Tier 4 Cargo Container weighs = 88,348 KG
That weight is based off the same amount of components but the mass of the S.E.D Mk5 reduced from 800 to 50

That's still almost 3x's the weight of a normal cargo container, but its not 1.1 million over the vanilla container.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 8:15
can u send my your save file with your ship(with problem)? i need learn more about this situation...
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 8:13
I am using Tiered thrusters, and 40 Tier 4 atmo thrusters couldn't keep my airship afloat with multiple small tier 4 cargo containers on it.

I'm not sure how you're not seeing this as a problem when players can't get your cargo containers off the ground using modded thrusters because the container weighs too much. You don't need to change the cost or component requirements, just lower the mass for the SED's to a double digit number. They are still heavier by a massive factor than vanilla containers, but at least with my change to the mass I can get my ship off the ground.

If you wont change anything, can I have permission to upload a modified version of the mod with the mass changes so people can actually use these containers on their ships?
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 8:04
if there is no bug in the game, then why should I change anything?
can it be worth using tiered thrusters?
such a mass of the container is calculated and it is adequate to the volume that the container contains.
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:51
Its not a bug man, its the weight of your custom components. I changed the mass value of the S.E.D's and now my atmo hauler is working.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:48
with which ship are you using mod? how many containers on it do you install to get this bug?
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:33
If you drop component mass for the MK 1-5's to 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 respectively, the weight drops to a much more reasonable level, the Large tier 4 empty weighs about 88k rather than over 1million.
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:16
Ok, so here's what I did:

Changed the mass of the MK 5 component from 800 to 100
Changed the component cost of the Tier 4 large from 1350 to 1000

Change in weight:
Original = 1100849.00 KG
New = 121068.80 KG

Thats an entire 100k of weight removed just by reducing weight and component cost, you can always make the components cost more, but don't make them weigh so much or need so many.
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:07
Well the Mk5 component has a mass of 800 and the large tier 4 container uses 1350 of them, do the math, thats 800x1350, the weight in that block is out of this world compared to any other block in the game, I mean the material cost for these components is quite high as it is. Maybe cut the number of components needed for each tier in half and reduce the mass by 50%, that might sort out the issue.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:04
"Consider reducing the mass for the components"
up to what values?
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:01
So, having looked into the files and discussing this with several other modders on the ARMCO discord channel, I've come to the conclusion that your custom components weigh too much, they have an effect on block weight and in the case of the Tier 4 containers, they weigh more than any ship can handle. Consider reducing the mass for the components.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 7:00
So what?
In this mod, available settings are used, which are highly likely not used by any other mod.
In addition, at one time I did not find a single mod that changes the volume and weight of containers. This method I found myself.
And since the mass does not change at the time of undocking the merge block, then it is mistakenly considered the game itself.
There are no scripts in the mod. Only the volume and mass settings are changed and no hacks used.
How do I fix this error? I can not imagine...
While the game has such bugs, you can hardly insist on fixing the bug when using this mod: https://youtu.be/-Rl3gkABsdQ
UnseenOni 15. mar. 2018 kl. 6:04
How is it a game bug? I've never had this issue with any other modded cargo containers or vanilla containers? In fact I've never even seen this bug with any other mod.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 1:05
I do not know. this is a game bug, not a mod.
UnseenOni 14. mar. 2018 kl. 23:50
When is the weight issue going to be fixed?
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 30. jan. 2018 kl. 13:20
lotw_1, It remains to wait when the SE starts working without bugs.
lotw_1 29. jan. 2018 kl. 16:05
I did and if I remove your mod the cargo and ships work fine. With your mod somehow the weight goes crazy. Without everything works perfect.
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 29. jan. 2018 kl. 11:37
lotw_1, nothing wrong with this mod. if u found bug in game, report it to keenswh forum.
lotw_1 28. jan. 2018 kl. 14:05
This mod causes weight to be wrong and will cause your ship to crash to the ground if playing on a planet with gravity. Even after you disconnect a merge block with the cargo on it the weight stays on your ship.
Rathan 2. jan. 2018 kl. 22:21
What is the S.E.D.?
SinTheDane 14. dec. 2017 kl. 2:33
It works now. Thanks!
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2017 kl. 2:01
Thank you, for report. Mod fixed. Please, check this case again, just to be sure... =)
Xariman  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2017 kl. 1:34
put last log onto https://pastebin.com/ and send me a link.
SinTheDane 14. dec. 2017 kl. 1:30
When you open the Production menu the game crashes.
