Check my Workshop, I added some new screenshots of the redesign. The new V-56c has a large cargo bay and can now accommodate a M-12 Puma!

Yea the vector script is out of date & I couldn't find a new one. Sometime when you can figure out how to proceed forward it's good to go back and look at older design, which is what I did in this case.

I’ve started working on a new model V-56b which lead to yet another redesign V-56c which has a rear ramp and can fit a Puma armored tank onboard.

You can change the velocity/acceleration and the responsiveness a little in the script. But yeah, you are right. Still better than having to put thrusters in every direction, this is waaaayyyyy lighter.

So flying this again recently and am I the only one that thinks the Vector Script is thinking way too much sometimes and tweaking out? ( in atmosphere here for me)

Timers no longer needed, if you use a relatively recent Auto-LCD's script. The latest LCD version has some nice perf tweaks too, so it's solid.

Also: the auto LCDs script is not actually installed. The Salvo script is running on the LCD computer, and the computer labeled salvo just has the default code in it. The Auto LCD script is also missing the timer it needs to run.

I found a few threads back to 2016 complaining of this exact same problem. Seems to do with spawning a blueprint into a world space, but obviously not all blueprints have that problem. Sadly, it's looking like it's out of our hands. But thanks for the great ship either way.

What I saw is that the pivot point of the main grid is far behind the ship. Possibly this ship was created out of a larger object. Maybe this is the reason...

I think this may have something to do with the engine pods, try to lock them before doing your jump. If this does not help, i dont know what could solve this.

I'm having an issue with blind jump. If I recall, I had this same issue with the older V-55 Condor too, so it could be something I'm repeatedly doing wrong. Blind jump always says there's an obstacle a few meters in front of the ship and aborts. I even tested a blank world with zero mods, same. I'm thinking this may be a bigger-picture SE game engine problem though. Ideas? Anyone else seeing this issue? Waypointed jumps work if I'm not pointed directly at the waypoint. Either way, IMDC creations are always a huge hit, but this is MEGA! Thanks for the great work!

Maybe you pasted it into the ground or voxel? Or maybe you forgot the switch lock on the landing gears?
Press 1 then 2 to take off, once you are sure that the ship is not station and not attached to anything.

Problem is, a pasted ship will always have the script in standby (atm) so unless someone the gets on board and quickly presses 1 and then 2, the ships will crash upon spawning.

Thanks! It think the guy who created the "Vector Thrust 2" script has already made this partially possible. Will play around with the AI scripting to see how well it flys (or crashes) :steamhappy:

And yes, Kevin you can use them, but I have to warn you: I don’t know if the „AI“ is able to operate the vector thrust ships. For all the other ships, use them as you want :)
