I wonder if anyone is gonna pick up this mod
StarlightSovereign 11. maj 2018 kl. 16:59
Sorry, compatibility with my mod, Sensible Stone and Steel which I'm about to re-release as SheiFoxy's Materials Rebalanced (combining several of my materials mods).
I'd like to honor the requests I've received and make it compatible with your mod if that's okay! Thanks!
StarlightSovereign 11. maj 2018 kl. 16:58
Hi! I've had some requests for compatibility and I wondered if you mind if I make and post a compatibility patch? I would need to alter some of both of our code to make the mods fit together. Please let me know.
Thank you!

Thank you for everything you have contributed to the community Cupro

It is time that I must unfortunately announce the retirement of my mods. I simply don't have the time to dedicate to the mods anymore, and I won't be getting any extra free time in the foreseeable future. It has been a blast making mods for this game, and I really wish I could keep doing it. I hope everyone continues to enjoy this amazing game for a long time to come! I know I have :)
Sentient_Worm 2. jan. 2018 kl. 20:59
Hmm well my issue might be from configureable maps
will tinker with it when I get back into the game just recently got empiers of the undergrowth and im tryin to get the available content finished
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 2. jan. 2018 kl. 19:58
@Sentient_Worm it depends. Prepare Landing and Configurable Maps have settings that can conflict with mine, but both are able to be tweaked to have the same settings for stone types or number of types to spawn. Some mods like Kura's Minerals have some stone duplicates, which might still allow the stones to spawn
Sentient_Worm 2. jan. 2018 kl. 12:46
Cupro have you ever seen a mod override the mod settings for one of your mods?
Telemak 19. dec. 2017 kl. 9:41
Good mod.
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2017 kl. 11:34
@MakiabelMFE work to make is shown in the item information panel, and hardness would just be the hitpoints
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2017 kl. 11:25
@Izuela all stones in the game (with and without this mod) have a 25% chance to drop chunks. I doublechecked and dunite should be working just like any other stone. At a 25% chance, you just got unlucky.

@MakiabelMFE I'll put that in a discussion so it doesn't get buried by comments
Izuela 15. dec. 2017 kl. 2:50
I'm having a problem where mining doesn't actually produce any chunks of rock. Is there something I might be missing? It's Dunite. I chopped away 4 pieces with nothing to show for it. Is there like a % chance or something?
MakiabelMFE 13. dec. 2017 kl. 16:56
They look great! Would you mind adding the hardness and work to build for each one in comparison to the base game ones? just to have a frame of reference.
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2017 kl. 5:18
@JyCS are you using ConflictChecker or a similar tool? Duplicate defNames should work together just fine, that's how mods override the base game's content. This doesn't seem like an actual error, especially considering the only thing Floored does is redefine those terrains (which they don't need to, it looks like)

I checked both mods together and they work without issues, so the errors can be ignored

sorry for flood.

(Update)
just figured i'd throw a quick update your way.

http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1224897725

so far so good,
1stReaper 8. dec. 2017 kl. 4:23
that being said,,,
im looking forward to using the mod :D

(ill be able to build homes similiar to the british red-brick houses now)
1stReaper 8. dec. 2017 kl. 4:21
its a bit of a pain getting used to but prepare landing pretty much highlights areas that your after

for example
selecting large hills, temperate forest, with marble and garnet, stone road

highlights areas of the map that have said selections :).

------
if using that doesn't clock the new stones into the game,,,
im presuming we'll be able to buy the items from traders ?
(if we can, that'll be awesome getting supplies i cant get :> )
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2017 kl. 17:54
That's assuming you got an error at all, they might work together just fine
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2017 kl. 17:53
I use Prepare Carefully with this all the time, so no. Prepare Landing could have a conflict; both mods probably alter the same bit of code. I'm not too familiar with Prepare Landing, so I don't really know. If you load this mod before Landing, and change the settings for this mod to only spawn 2-3 types of stone (vanilla values) it might work
1stReaper 7. dec. 2017 kl. 16:33
@Cupro
any chance this mod will have any issues with prepare carefully and the prepare landing mod?

(far as i know of out of my current load of mods, they are the only ones that i can think of that would have anything to do with the new stone types)
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2017 kl. 3:09
Yeah I saw last night. I'll get that fixed later :)
Thranos 5. dec. 2017 kl. 19:34
Just an FYI, the new stone types are creating their own seperate floor types fo flagstone instead of just rolling into the flagstone selection with Stuffed Floors/More Floors.
Foxxys856 5. dec. 2017 kl. 13:57
dude ur awsome thanks man :) you went above and boyond for me cheers :)
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 5. dec. 2017 kl. 12:52
@Foxxys856 It's not precise with how the defs are written since they are done with multipliers, but for HP and Beauty:
Sandstone: 1.4 - 1.1
Granite: 1.7 - 1
Limestone: 1.55 - 1
Slate: 1.3 - 1.1
Marble: 1.2 - 1.5
Claystone: 1.3 - 1
Andesite: 1.6 - 1
Syenite: 1.6 - 1
Gneiss: 1.55 - 1.1
Quartzite: 1.5 - 1
Schist: 1.4 - 1.1
Gabbro: 1.6 - 1
Diorite: 1.8 - 1.4
Dunite: 1.35 - 1
Pegmatite: 1.5 - 1
lloki 5. dec. 2017 kl. 10:05
Ok, I can confirm it is compatibile with TiberiumRim mod.
Foxxys856 5. dec. 2017 kl. 8:23
just a question is there any possible way to say which stone has what hp and which is best for beauty other than that awsome job
Zairya 5. dec. 2017 kl. 1:33
*hugs*
Cupro, you're one of my heroes xD
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2017 kl. 19:39
More Floors is already supported with Stuffed Floors installed
Moothersmilk 4. dec. 2017 kl. 18:49
This is kind of a tall order, but can you make More Floors version?
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2017 kl. 13:04
Of course it's compatible with Quarry!

I like the idea of a more rose colored quartz. If I still remember by B19 I'll change it. I don't want to do it now in case people are already using it for the greyness
junio.king 3. dec. 2017 kl. 23:12
it is compatible with Quarry mod????
Zairya 3. dec. 2017 kl. 22:32
I'd love it of quarzite would be rosé; like rose quarzt. But my favorite is a black-white combination for bathrooms.
lloki 3. dec. 2017 kl. 12:13
I get it now :P
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2017 kl. 11:17
In other words, now quartzite is grey and ugly :'(
Zairya 3. dec. 2017 kl. 10:59
@lloki but vanilla marble is gray and ugly
lloki 3. dec. 2017 kl. 10:05
Thanks, I'll do some testing by myself then :) PS. Great job with this mod :)
cuproPanda  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2017 kl. 9:53
@lloki I have no idea. This mod adds new types of stones the same way the base game does, but if the Tiberium mods only account for the original 5, then no. Best to ask them. If they just corrupt things that are rocks, then it should be fine

@Dr Roach most likely. As lloki said, it was compatible in A17. The only issue I had was the transition from regular walls to smooth walls looks ugly due to the increased detail of my walls, but chances are you won't be keeping the transition for long (smoothing out the entire room)
lloki 3. dec. 2017 kl. 9:02
Cupro, do you think it will be compatibile with Tiberium mods? I sow that there is some sort of rock corruption.
lloki 3. dec. 2017 kl. 9:01
Zairya - marble is vanilla :P
Zairya 3. dec. 2017 kl. 8:55
Thank you, cupro! Now I can build beatiful kitchens and bathrooms with marbel again.
lloki 3. dec. 2017 kl. 8:42
Dr Roach it was in a17 so probably it is now.
dinosaur 3. dec. 2017 kl. 7:57
Is this compatible with Smooth Stone walls?
