I hope this answered your question, and thanks for your comment.
The solution to this is to simply choose a longer game sound, one that serves my purpose of adding a GOTCHA BITCH when a smoker grabs a survivor, so why don't you use the smoker theme? (You know, the creepy musical that plays when a special zombie pins you)
Very simple, everyone is already doing that, so if i change my mod to use the popular option of the smoker theme i'm predicting that at least half of the people subscribed to this will have a conflict with another mod (assuming they are subscribed to another smoker sound mod)
With that said, this mod will remain as it is, i dropped sound modding a long time ago and since the Last Stand Update most of my mods became outdated due to the change in some file locations, resulting in less motivation to hop back into it.
For this mod i used a sound-file called "smoker_tonguehit_02" that plays when a smoker tongue hits a survivor (not to confuse with a smoker GRAB), in hindsight this was a bad choice because of the following:
-Depending on the game sound it main contain multiple tracks that are related to it, in this case the smoker tongue hit has two tracks that can be played when the trigger (tongue hit) happens, so i have to change each track with my desired sound to hear it 100% of the time.
-But since one of the tracks was way too short to put any sound to it, i only edited one, thus, it can only be heard 50% of the time
