No!
Gothicus Maximus 10. apr. 2021 kl. 6:45
Is it working?
Drax70 11. aug. 2020 kl. 7:16
Yep, another "RIP" mod! :-(
G.Strategos 18. maj 2019 kl. 6:54
I think this mod is dead. It's a pity though.
zman 19. apr. 2019 kl. 6:49
I think it worked for me... I had a duel with my mother, killed her and her skull became a ceremonial icon/heirloom and was passed down through the generations... Kept me feeling guilty for 'offing' Mom...
G.Strategos 14. apr. 2019 kl. 7:37
@Gnark7
Any updates please?
ChaoticLaw 14. feb. 2019 kl. 12:52
Achievement compatible?
Jonarus_Drakus 30. nov. 2018 kl. 6:09
Can confirm that weapons don't properly convert to hierlooms...

That said, it doesn't seem to break anything either, so you can keep this mod around while waiting for it to be updated.

AFAIK it does no longer works with Holy Fury (not sure if issue is with DLC, or free update). None of my weapons/armors/jewelry got converted in several playthroughs
Kaisergeese 18. nov. 2018 kl. 13:44
Does this work with holy fury?

I see a few people have asked awhile back, but I'll ask again! Is there any chance we could get a link so as to manually install it? Looks really interesting!
Mentos 28. juli 2018 kl. 20:27
krimstad that's actually pretty funny. Too bad it didn't add any flavor text like.."This blade found itself in the backs of many the unsuspecting relative."
Alex Reinoso 3. maj 2018 kl. 9:46
are there any DLC required? i have yet to gain an artifact.
RustyR.Uck 21. mar. 2018 kl. 22:44
Kimstad, you can incorporate it into your roleplay and just destroy the heirloom.

"I want nothing from this man. Steward. Take this and have the smiths melt it down."
kimstad 17. mar. 2018 kl. 10:05
Do you think you could make it so that artifacts inherited from kinslayers are blocked from this?
My character just inherited a sword from his fratricidal uncle and it became a named heirloom, which is simply messed up,
Caio Soares 11. mar. 2018 kl. 12:18
its work in 2.8.1?
Rams 29. jan. 2018 kl. 1:28
Hey, great work! Do you have a link in order to manually install it?
Rob 27. jan. 2018 kl. 7:59
i have never found an artifact do you need DLC or do i just need to do something specific to find one.
Cousin Okri 25. jan. 2018 kl. 12:14
Wait, so is the name randomly assigned or chosen by me? I have HIP which lets you get named weapons already, and i wouldnt want a Heartseeker to become Dickbutt MacEncheese' Cocklobber
Pierre Doon 6. jan. 2018 kl. 1:20
hi, I really liked your mod and I translated it into russian, can you somehow add it to the mod page?
ScootaCross 30. dec. 2017 kl. 6:25
Do you think you could add, or make a seperete mod, that allows an Immortal to name their items while still alive? After themselves, thier children, a great feat or even completely randomly on a whim?

Like a "Hence forth this knife shall be known as 'Cock Chopper'!" moment after castrating a rival?
G.Strategos 17. dec. 2017 kl. 9:08
@Gnark7
Hey buddy. Very nice mod you have there. Any idea if I could use it with HIP ?
Cheers.

damn too bad. great mod though, adds a personal/historical feel to the game. started a non ironman game to check it out. its pretty cool realising after 300 years youre still using the longsword of your great*6 grandfather.

@keenbs thanks for the explanation no need to apologize
Gnark7  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2017 kl. 14:40
@frostythesnowman Never actually done that before but I'll try and followup

@deep95 @SalvageMarine64 Even if I changed the prestige back I added events which I believe would still make it incompatible but I'm not certain on that front

@keenbs thanks for the explanation and kind words
Salvage64 10. dec. 2017 kl. 16:03
@keenbs If this mod didn't effect the prestige values for the artifacts would it be ironman compatibe? Or does changing the name of something break the checksum?
Keenbs 9. dec. 2017 kl. 16:05
"Is this ironman compatible?"...it changes something apart from aesthetics. Whenever a mod changes a prestige value, trait, or actually any part of the game that affects mechanics, it changes the checksum and hence makes ironman incompatible. Sorry to sound like an arse, just thought I'd explain.

Cool mod, unironically thought this was was needed for depth in artifacts!
vathsa95 9. dec. 2017 kl. 8:12
is this mod ironman compatible?
frostythesnowman 9. dec. 2017 kl. 6:25
Hey, I'm really interested in the mod. Is there anyway you could make a direct download link? Would really appreciate it, mate.
Leldy 8. dec. 2017 kl. 18:30
King Doogle McDoogle the Frisky
Gnark7  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2017 kl. 14:35
@Lukepop Thanks!

@Fanstar1 It should be compatible. Only concern would be if they changed base game artifacts stats as this will modify the artifact stats back to the orginal plus the x2 prestige I added. If they have let me know and I'll think about drumming up a submod.

@Sycoperson Agreed. I mean if you can name your kids why not an artifact? They are more valuable and last longer anyways. Plus my sword has yet to demand a title or a seat on the council.
Connor 7. dec. 2017 kl. 16:47
would be badass if you can name them yourself, but I doubt the CK2 engine is built for that ):
Fanstar1 7. dec. 2017 kl. 15:19
is it compatibel with CK2+?
Lukepop 5. dec. 2017 kl. 11:45
Clever idea, great work!
G.Strategos 2. dec. 2017 kl. 11:17
@Gnark7
Thanks mate.I downloaded the file and checked it already.
Cheers.
Gnark7  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2017 kl. 10:30
There is a 10% chance when you inherit a sword, scimitar, lance, axe, mace, bow or armor that is craftable by a weapon/armor smith that it will be renamed after the previous owner including nickname and have its monthly prestige bonus doubled.
G.Strategos 2. dec. 2017 kl. 5:20
I would appreciate more info mate.
Cheers.
