Why does the link to toolbox insist on opening in a browser and not steam client? It is sucha pain to remember my password :steamhappy:
Viny 31. maj 2020 kl. 19:16
This sounds like it would go great with the Advanced Welding mod
ANONYME 1. apr. 2020 kl. 4:50
Okay I can confirm that it was a software issue, using winrar and doing the same steps worked, the models and icons are fine, great !

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the infos.
Alb  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2020 kl. 4:34
I think the issue is with how you're extracting the mod. I'm not familiar with bandizip. I use winrar and/or 7zip.

Also, oops accidentally deleted your post.
Alb  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2020 kl. 4:18
I use notepad++, but regular notepad would work too.
Alb  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2020 kl. 4:17
cubeblocks.sbc from this mod contains the info of all the blocks from this mod. find the block(s) you want to change (look for names and id's), and change each one you want to <public>true</public>. That's it.
ANONYME 1. apr. 2020 kl. 4:16
I know it shouldn't break them, what you described is what I have done but as I said the custom models won't work, it might be due to what I use to open the bin archive and the sbc file, what software do you use to open them ? I could give that a try and see if it changes anything
Alb  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2020 kl. 4:14
Did they change how blocks show up in the g-menu? I doubt it. You open cubeblocks.sbc from this mod, and literally just change
<public>false</public> to
<public>true</public>
And it should show up in the g-menu just as you would expect. I have no idea why it's screwing up the model for you, it really shouldn't be doing that at all if you're doing this right.
ANONYME 1. apr. 2020 kl. 3:48
@Alb do you think you could help out trying to understand why modifying "cubeblocks.sbc" breaks the models ? Would you care for it to begin with ?
ANONYME 1. apr. 2020 kl. 3:47
Modifying the required file to make them work in the G-menu breaks the custom models and the blocks do not have any icons in the menu.
So don't bother.
Godzilla fan for life 23. feb. 2020 kl. 8:01
So I got 2 questions. 1, are there small ship versions of these blocks? And 2, how exactly do we add this to the g-menu?
RussellMMO 9. jan. 2020 kl. 15:47
Where is the file for that?
Alb  [ophavsmand] 21. apr. 2019 kl. 13:12
Sure. Just change to <public> true</public> in the cubeblocks.sbc
Illegal Poptart 20. apr. 2019 kl. 20:16
would it be possible to add these to the g-menu manually for my own use?
KillFrenzy 11. apr. 2019 kl. 14:20
Thrusters had a 20% boost in the 1.189 patch. Can you also boost your Quantum Vortex Thruster by 20% to match this?
Alb  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2019 kl. 22:27
What needs updating? Everything should work fine.
Bluewave101 3. apr. 2019 kl. 21:38
plz update mod
azulius 14. mar. 2019 kl. 9:24
it would be nice if some powerfull randomly spawned boss would have them as reward for beating him
尤利 5. jan. 2019 kl. 3:48
i want to see them in g menu!!!
Alb  [ophavsmand] 7. nov. 2018 kl. 13:37
Well there's this:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1091728522

If you want to make it not show up on the g-menu, open up its cubeblocks.sbc file and change the <public> property to false and save it as your own mod. Be sure to make a blueprint of the block before you do that though, so you can paste it in as admin once you remove it from the menu.
Every Worm in the Graveyard 7. nov. 2018 kl. 11:09
i've been thinking about doing this for a long time to make capturable OP tech for players on a server. could you design a machine that slowly generates infinite metals from stone or something?
Alb  [ophavsmand] 20. sep. 2018 kl. 21:19
And, you know what, I also added the small grid version of insanium armor. You're welcome, those who asked for it. Sorry it took this long.
Alb  [ophavsmand] 20. sep. 2018 kl. 20:43
Alright! Turns out insanium armor was getting DESTROYED by everything because I didn't set it up properly in code. One gatling bullet would blow it up...
I fixed it, NOW it is truely insanium and would withstand any attack.
It can now stand agains a gattling turret constantly shooting for 30 something weeks straight.
Alb  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2018 kl. 6:17
Only for large grid, currently. I'm not a modeler, so I gotta use vanilla models or ask other modders for their stuff.
SourceStick 17. sep. 2018 kl. 5:56
can we have small block blueprints frome these or is it only for large grid?
Alb  [ophavsmand] 16. sep. 2018 kl. 22:14
Just updated this with a new reward-block: The HYDROGEN FARM !
Alb  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2018 kl. 17:34
Also, I updated the code a bit here.
The quantum thruster wasn't quite working as intended... So I changed it to an "ion" type thruster, BUT it's backwards (it works better in atmosphere). So you can still treat it as an atmo-thruster, but now it can also be used in space as well (20% thrust in space).
Alb  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2018 kl. 17:30
I changed the description. Don't worry.

I also released this new mod that randomly spawns pirate bases featuring these new blocks! Here:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1510183381
SourceStick 12. sep. 2018 kl. 6:52
I just read that you have told about it in the description and now I feel stupid.

(sorry, my english is not so good)
Alb  [ophavsmand] 11. sep. 2018 kl. 17:32
Rip. Not so insanium I guess.
SourceStick 11. sep. 2018 kl. 10:31
i destroyed Insanium Armor. i just let it fall from the sky
TheSilverInfinity 2. apr. 2018 kl. 17:13
@Amazon - u coud probs do that using the custom planet encounters thing that u can do
Biomechannibal 18. mar. 2018 kl. 2:40
The Beam mining Laser would be a good fit for this pack.
coolguy2016 11. mar. 2018 kl. 10:56
How are you supposed to add this to a ship?
Cheeseburger Johnson 28. feb. 2018 kl. 17:07
I'm gonna make that and then upload it to the workshop.
Ignisium 25. feb. 2018 kl. 11:04
with the insanium armor, you should make a ship called achillies and have it coated in the armor, and only a single block of the ship can be shot out to more or less disable the ship.
braciszek 24. feb. 2018 kl. 0:16
Many years had passed since the mention of the Death Laser. Some say it is hiding in the empty vastness of space, waiting to be found. Others say it is not published yet.
TheSilverInfinity 21. dec. 2017 kl. 13:37
@Alb
Seems legit
Alb  [ophavsmand] 21. dec. 2017 kl. 10:09
Haha oops! Forgot to publish the blueprints collection, wow. Should work now.

As for distributing the blocks, you just got to physically paste the block in front of them and say "here ya go" or something. They don't show up on the g-menu at all (just like the monolith block) so the only way to see them is to use the blueprints and paste them in when you're an admin. So just subscribe to the blueprints and paste them in for them, let them figure out how to jury-rig them to their builds.
Zepher 21. dec. 2017 kl. 8:08
So I am a little confused. Are the blocks in this mod able to be distributed somehow? We wanted to use them as rewards to events we hold but if there isn't a way to transfer them to another player to reward them, it kind of hinders the idea. Also, it seems your blueprint link above does not work, so I cant even try the blocks out.
TheSilverInfinity 3. dec. 2017 kl. 11:04
Just a suggestion, but maybe you should add a Antenna called the Transdimensional Info Gate with infinite range?
Alb  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2017 kl. 8:00
Just large ship for now. Could do small tho...
TheSilverInfinity 3. dec. 2017 kl. 6:53
Is it smallship too?
TheSilverInfinity 3. dec. 2017 kl. 6:52
XD
Perfect troll
Alb  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2017 kl. 21:16
They technically are, but it would take days of constant grinding to finally break it down. And even if you manage that, you'll get a whole 1 scrap for it.
TheSilverInfinity 2. dec. 2017 kl. 18:36
Imagine what would happen if the insanium blocks were accidentally grindable
TheSilverInfinity 1. dec. 2017 kl. 15:41
huh
Alb  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2017 kl. 15:40
Ok, I just tested negative mass, and when 2 objects with negative mass collide in-game they... phase through eachother... and cause a lot of lag.

When I bumped into it with my astronaut, I phased through and couldn't move for a while. Had to restart my jetpack. Also there was a bit of weirdness going on with the audio.
TheSilverInfinity 1. dec. 2017 kl. 15:35
Maybe put a limit at 1 kg or sumthin?
That way it will always have mass, but be really light
