I got no clue then sorry, could be my side could be your side, would have to see if anyone else had this problem.

Havent worked on the jetpack in 2 years now and havent touched gmod in 1, game may have updated or partially broken my jetpack. Sorry i cant help any more

when I go to entities then go to other and then I copy the name of it, it's "sneakyjetpack". My server is on the Star destroyer map and the jetpack spawns in MHB.

dont think that would be on my side, make sure you did the jobs lua correctly, remember it has to be an entity not a weapon

I know this is kinda old but I was planning on putting this in my server and when I go to spawn with the jetpack on my job, I don't spawn with one.

"sneakyjetpack was spawned without a slotname!!!!. Defaulting to classname"

I don't know what to do.

Can you make this jetpack more like from SWBF2 2005 with fuel. Also can you slow down the movement while flying (Like SWBF2 2005, yeah), please.

if you have ulx on your solo/server copy the jetpack to clipboard on the Q menu and then do "ulx give paste_here"

Sorry I no longer work on GMOD workshop content however the reason it does not work on the model is because that model was made poorly so it is missing certain bones.

the jetpack is literally copy and pasted from HL1 along with all the other jetpacks apart from a few things i changed to do with the speed and movement style.

If you're take suggestions and if you arn't busy on other projects may I suggest you add a fourth skin in which the jetpack is invisible. That way it can be used with skins that already have a jetpack and so they don't clip.

Try and unsubscribe and delete the addon from your addons folder, redownload and see if you have the same issue

Yeah this script works with this.. the error is caused that ClassName is a value and if u use scripted_ents.GetStored() function he need a string and your jetpack uses an arg not a string.. otherwise it works for normal users just if u need to add them as ents.Create function in other scripts

Hey i made a function to use a ply:GiveJetpack() function the problem is you need to change


local ent = ents.Create( ClassName )
ent:SetSlotName( ClassName ) ClassName="sneakyjetpack" or it will come an error maybe u should setup on your version instead of classname the entity name
