Campaign straight up breaks on chapter 3 movie theater, cannot progress due to the object required to end the horde not being interactable leading to an endless horde. Missing textures all over the map for my gf, for me they were straight up wireframe giving me wallhacks. first 2 chapters offer almost 0 weapon variety, you will find only Uzis, chrome shotguns, machetes, and fireaxes (there is one chainsaw but i crashed after chapter one so i lost it) overall terrible experience, look elsewhere for fun campaigns.

1st off the people hating the campaign are wack, but the ones complaining about the tank...

this is such a fun campaign and with the different crescendos that can happen each play through make the map is so so cool, BUT WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU USE THE L4D1 TANK FILE??????

THIS COMPLETELY RUINS THE ENTIRE SURPRISE IN CHAPTER 5 AND MAKES THE ENDING WAY FUCKING HARDER THAN IT HAD TO BE

i know that disabling the tanks mods will fix the invisible tank, but dude... one little oversight on such a big thing makes an insane amount of difference.

Trying to host on a dedicated server but keeps loading The Parish instead when starting the game. Not sure what's wrong? Can't get this map to work at all.

It works badly, I played the first part, the wall didn't break, I had to reboot, I reached the same place, it was broken beforehand, after passing that wall, I lost the game audio and started playing with 30fps

5/5. A beautifully made campaign that stands heads and shoulders above the rest. The final level alone is enough to qualify it with it's beautiful lighting and incredibly intense atmosphere, and the fact that it comes with four other levels means there's just more to celebrate.

Anyone knows a way to fix the problem with the Invisible Tank?

Not even disabling the tank mods or installing the mod AFTER installing the map can fix it.

why isn't this called "Back 2 School"?

- Adding to the previous point, there are a few areas that are dragged out that it starts getting repetitive. I started getting bored shooting the infected because I kept seeing the same exact surroundings. That one area with burnt humans at the stake were cool tho.

- Too much things to do. Seriously, we're here to run for safety - not for errands. The fact that we had to do mental gymnastics just to get to the safehouse behind the cinema screen was atrocious enough (turns out I had to pull THAT specific axe instead of the one I'm holding in order to cut the wire; who the hell thought that was a good idea?)... waiting for the fire at the grocery to stop (with instant incap should you try and cross) and wait until the fire disperses and climbing on top of the construction site only to come back down again... don't even bother.

However, there are few caveats.

- No T2 weapons appeared until the prison and there are too many panic events partnered with multiple SI spawning that slowed the progress of an already long level.

- Bots tend to go haywire when navigating some areas. Some keep going back from where we came from, and some just could not access the spaces involuntarily (like riding the chopper at the finale).

- Vigorous length. "Back To School" and the school itself barely got any screentime until map 6 (even worse that it's dark and flooded). No signs of cooldown spots because the infected are always on your ass. Winding roads that adds to the atmosphere, but also adds to the frustration given there's barely any instructions given until the last moment.

That was, by far, the longest campaign I have ever played. Starting from the car crash all the way to the big finale. No issues on my end other than missing textures. I love it.

Not a fan of this one. The campaign is mutation un-friendly and is catered to Special Infected play. Want to get around it by using Gib Fest? Nope. The Cinema level requires an axe secondary and the moment you use it during the Cinema crescendo, it despawns since Magnums overwrite it making the level unwinnable.

There's also the very unclear and frustrating finale. The flooding within the school makes it impossible to evade infected if you don't have Boomer Bile. Playing a Tank mutation in the finale and you get a Tank to follow you into the school? Forget it. The Tanks are guaranteed to win 100% of the time, so it's not worth bothering escaping to mutations to trying balancing this unbalanced finale.

If this campaign ever was modified by somebody else, I'd suggest removing the flooding from the school. At least that one choice can make the finale more better.

Must play campaign! Every chapter has a great identity and it all comes together in a fantastic, lengthy campaign. Only problem is that it desperately needs fixing/updating. Please update the collection to include the Valve Missing Content Fix and the Missing Content Fix Ver EC17 and maybe the L4D1 infected population. Also, it can cause CTDs when used in conjunction with certain addons.

To anyone who's planning on playing, pleasure download those two addons.(and maybe the L4D1 population script since it takes place in Pennsylvania like the other L4D1 maps)

I retract everything I said previously about this campaign. It is straight up a blatant rip off of Suicide Blitz 2 but brutalizing it and every it stands for. Fuck you.

Some decent potential, but absolutely blunders most of everything. If you even think about half the stuff the survivors have to do ingame, it makes zero sense. Why go to the computer, turn on the power, get the axe and break the power, and then break the wall instead of just breaking the wall? Also, pretty sure this was just cuz we had tank mods installed, but we had to deal with invisible tanks. My biggest gripe is that THERES NO FUCKING SCHOOL IN THE CAMPAIGN TITLED BACK TO SCHOOL. WHY?!
