Yeah, removing the viewmodel hands fixes the game crashing and the "gmod_hands:backwards mins/maxs" issue. It was an issue with the viewmodel, once you remove it it completely fixes it. For anyone using this and are having issues, I suggest doing that for now. It works perfect from what I've noticed.

I fixed the addon by removing the hands for the viewmodel.

I love this addon, even besides the crashes.
I'll definitely use it a lot more if the author fixes it.
Quite buggy, and also what M95 said:
"gmod throws back gmod_hands:backwards mins/maxs", a ton of times.
Although it's buggy, and causes crashes, even on dedicated servers, I love the addon.
If author fixes it I'll definitely use it all the time. It's a great addon.

Once I figure out how to actually update my old addons, I'm considering updating this one and fixing all the issues present.

I'd avoid using this for now, I love the hell out of Blockland which is why I subscribed to this a while ago, but after using this a lot more recently, I've noticed a serious issue with it.

Everytime you switch to it, gmod throws back "gmod_hands: backwards mins/maxs" about 6 times, and after roughly 5 minutes of playtime the game just crashes with no error whatsoever. Needless to say, this is very buggy for now... decent playermodel though.

I friggin' LOVE both games. This one model adds even more love and fun to both games for me and others. I wish for this to get updates as soon as possible for even more fun. I read the previous 6+ comments on the first page of you talking to TGE about not doing so any time soon, but I really hope you do and have time during when you think you can to do so. (Note: I haven't tried it yet, but I watched VT's video of it.) (Note 2: IT'S OVER 9000 SUBS!! Congrats!)
