You can just set it as a station grid to make it stationary I thought? through the info panel

True Enough. With that in mind i have also been working on a Self-building Asteroid Tether for the Stations. So you can Tether it to an asteroid to make it Stop Moving, and save fuel by Turning off all of the Thrusters. With Merge's of course so you can undock it and jump to another asteroid if such is your desire.

Superb! And yeah, it's unreal how much better it is in multiplayer, though I've found pistons have been making my ships move, they work fine on bases though
