Oh man, I'm so glad I backed up all those bright alien skin mods. Now I get an advantage that other's can't get easier than me!

havent found a server that has blocked it yet, that allows mods of course. haha its really not that big of a deal though I didnt mean to sound like a dick there's a lot worse things.

@Dextronaut Having weapons glow in alien vision would most likely cause the mod to be blocked by consistency checks, so it would only work on certain servers anyway.

I really don't understand how this would be cheating. all it does is make the weapons better to see on the ground/in marine's hand. Seems stupid to flag this. In my opinion it sounds like a great idea.

the shotugn would be hard to see in alien territory, but I guess there would also be that bubble over it.

no well it really depends on how bright it is, it isnt TOO big of a deal but it could be. it depends Id have to check it out. but whats different from the other mods that recolor or reskin your weapon is this is changing the glow that emits from a weapon when it is dropped, aka when you can spot your weapons through walls. The one thing that raised concern with me is the "Planned update" of making the orange glow of them for alien vision stand out more, because thats changing the advantages for each team. This should be something implemented in a certain server, not by choice for each player.

It's really personal opinion with mods like this. Personally I don't think this gives much benefit outside of the commander position cause of how fast and easy the combat is anyway. Make of it what you want.

So, all the other mods coloring the weapons are cheating, too? I mean, I have a red shotgun and a hello-kitty LMG. I can discern who's holding what easily. Is that cheating?

I quite like this idea, but they might be a little "too" bright... and shouldn't the flamethrower be red or orange ? :-p
