@tempest1 Don't have NFP yet. Will probably buy it during upcoming summer sale. If you already want to add the DLCs, you can just add "OR CivilizationType = 'CIVILIZATION_ASDF';" to the end of the "NoVanillaCityStates.sql"-file.

If you want to, you can send me the finished file, I'll upload it. You can also be listed as a a co-author and added to the github-repository. [github.com]

Thanks for the mod. However, in the NoVanillaCityStates.sql file, "Antananarivo" is misspelled -- you need another "an" or it appears in game.

This mod is terrific! Thank you! Quick question though — in GS, this mod appears to remove the vanilla city-states, but leaves the R&F and GS city-states in the game. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, a message window opens an tells me that error. I will see if it errors without that CIVITAS mod, but i am not sure if it will throw an error if i remove all my modded city states.

@TieJäi Can't test the CIVITAS mod, because it requires RaF, which I don't have. Try to get the error with the least mods possible, which do not require DLC, so I can test it. I never got and error number, like "3045188730". Does a message window open ingame? Never had that happen to me.

So i was using your mod, some others, and CIVITAS city states mod, using 24 city states ond a huge map. Then wehn starting the game, i get error 3045188730 which throws me back in to main menu

I added the new DLC city states. I guessed the names from the wiki, so if any cities still spawn, I probably made a typo. Tell me, I will try to fix.

@TieJäi Can you go into detail? Did it throw you back to main menu? And after being thrown to main menu, the game is broken, until it is restart? That is what happens to me too sometimes, if I have used invalid settings, such as too many city states selected, but not enough to fill them. Sometimes it breaks, sometimes it fills the missing spots.

@Zon Thanks, so this was the problem. That makes ense. That was a limitation I also found back when I first tested the mod. I will write a warning in the description.

actually i managed, it just does not work when there are free "slots" left, i.e. if u accidentally select only 30 players + 31 city-states it WILL still include CS from the exclude list. many thanks in advance :)

If you mean RaF, I stil have not bought the DLC. Was waiting for it to be on sale.
I don't have much time to play Civ myself currently, so I would only buy it, so I can update my mods for you guys, which is not worth 30€ for me.
But as soon as I have it, I'll look into it. I'l also have more time in a few weeks.

Appreciate it! I tried editing the SQL pad like you suggested to include the new names, but I'm thinking R&F changed something fundamental because this mod won't work even before I edit the SQL. I'll be patient though, thanks a lot!

pardon, a last aid if it would be possible. I ve harshness in finding Mod sql-file, since perhaps I ve got a windows version which hides them.

This may be something common with other people, I guess. Could you possibly copy-paste the sql file name in your Mod description, please?

@Mazzini This mod just diables all vanilly city states. If you want to keep specific ciity states in your game, just delete the corresponding lines in the NoVanillaCityStates.sql.

greetings. I m long struggling to find a way to disable city-states I don t prefer in a match, if this may fit my case well, I thank you sincerely.
