Mod is spawning an angel item in the devil room alongside the devil item when you beat the fallen angel.

@JamX009 I think the Devil Key Mod allows this. Tough the mod lets devil statues only drop key pieces and no Items and you might want to change "Key Break" in the MCM options if you want to go chest with devil deals.

Can someone make this but they drop key pieces instead? Would love to be able to go Devils and still fight Mega Satan.

Hey there @Simsure. I can confirm that this mod still works as of the latest Repentance update (both with and without Repentogon). If you feel like working on this again, maybe you could patch out those two minor bugs mentioned by 수달조련사 and add Mod Config Menu Pure support to adjust the item drop chance as per what ArczeQ said?

mannnnn only if I knew how to mod the game well. As I've always wanted a mod that allows you to take devil deals and still fight mega satan. This is literally everything I wanted but it just doesn't drop key pieces. ):
another idea is ounce you get both key pieces, you'll just get random devil items.

i think you should make this only active with an item or trinket
because its a little op like this

I once walked into a devil deal that had both brimstone, twisted pair, and 3 red chests on display. I opened the chests first and a troll bomb appeared, bombed the statue and took away the items and all I got for defeating the statue was necronomicon. I hate this mod.

this seems like a much needed buff for devil deals!

I checked that new repentance items can be appeared by this mod.
'Chaos' and 'Damocles' are working. Very nice

Two minor bugs on this mod.
1. Mama mega! doesn't destroy devil statue
2. Statue was respawned when game(program) was restarted after fallen angel die

And I think make a delay between defeating fallen angel and appearing item is better, like angel room.

Wait Loredonia, red chest and their content are also removed when the statue is destroyed? That's not intended, i will fix it. Only the devil deal items should be removed.

Simsure you don't get the problem about dissapering item, choice or not.

Simple example: red chest. If you have troll bomb, there is a big chance that they explode the devil statue and remove all other red chest, (blue heart, or guppy item for example...)

As the same way, some gameplay mecanics are nerfed because of this. D6 for example (which work in god room and key fragment + item) or looking for a good item in the devil statut, for having more heart and take the other ones... all this kind of decisional/risky choice are blocked because of this :/

A:I know, but when i've done this mod the mod API was really terrible i haven't found a way to remove an invisible block where the statue is,so i've put the 4 stone head to cover it.Maybe i can make some research to find if is now possible to remove it

boss goes between the 4 stone statues and become near-invulnerable...

I know, right? It feels so at home with the base game that it can just randomly f you up if you have bad luck. 10/10 would get murdered by a fallen angel again.

This mod can be quite dangerous. In my first devil deal (first floor, greed mode), a red chest spawned troll bombs, the statue got bombed before I could make the deals, and I was brutally murdered...

Could you make it that devil statues found in super-secret rooms and cursed rooms can also be bombed? Like how angel statues in non-angel rooms can be bombed.

I like your idea but adding four random stone heads around is a terrible idea, specially when you add a pull stone head with three more shooting at you. if the devil angel gets sucked inside it can't get hit. why not just add two devil angels? that's just as challenging. and putting a block where the invisible collision lies.

i looked at it and no me the red cheats or leo dose can you make it like angle rooms no heads on the ground the deals there as well the evil angles are all i want :resmile:

Nope,is that the fact,or you choose to sacrifice hearts and then fight the boss or you can't take the deals.
And then with the deals in the room is difficult to fight a boss.

looks like your last update fixed it up, i know but the blocks around the statue (after bombing it) where on the boss room with no exit possible. looks fine now

And Solon,now only the statue in devil rooms can be bombed.

well its definitly not fixed... when it randomly remove the next's floor hole i think it replace with the devil's middle room dont know exactly. you also cant re enter a devils room. if you do so you cant go to the next floor...

Hey not sure if you're still working on this, but I found a game brakeing bug with this mod. There are points when I bomb the statue and come out of the devil room my only way down is closed off, like after I kill the boss and then go in the room and destory the statue, then come out of the room, the way down is compeatly gone and is blocked by four rocks, and yes I tried restarting the game and tried contenueing from the main menu. I seem to get this bug offten, also there are some points in the game were the room you take DMG on when going into it can spawn a devil statue, you can bomb that one and get jack all for it, and after you bomb that one you can't bomb the REAL one X - ) I hope this is something you can fix~

I seperately enabled all my mods including this one, and the bombs just don't do anything,

Nothing happens when I put a bomb near the statues..

Huge exploit with goat head. Leaving the room and coming back spawns the devil deal statue again. Or the cursed room with the devil statue and 2 cards. Please fix it! :(
