Nice, it does save out the tales to a txt file too - very nice to help generating AI prompt to write a story! Interesting RimSaga is trying to do AI generation too. Thanks for your update!

We really need this for 1.4 and the upcoming 1.5. Are there any other mods being worked on that do this? I love to write short stories and it would be great to have the history of the colony recorded in a log.

@Hobi, Just checked, and while it doesn't break any saves, the tab simply come up blank. I'd love it to be updated, though!

This is an awesome concept, but currently it's overshadowed by it's tendency to fill up with nothing but 'colonist played game'. I'll stay subscribed in hopes of future updates and expanded mod functionality!

I amended the file and the error went away. Not known what impact that may have.

Thank you for updating to A18, I found this error on launch on a clean install:

Z:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1188524738\Defs\MainTabDefs/MainTabWindow_TaleLog.xml: root element named MainButtonDefs; should be named Defs
