@RoboT Oh yep lol ill change the description. Sorry this was 3 years ago, it says that the map has compiled with it, but there may have been some sort of mistake here

I've just noticed in the description

"Oh yeah and when you search for the map in game, its not mvm_highground its just highground"

@RoboT It seems that the map should have compiled with the mvm prefix, if anyone else has downloaded the map and it has not compiled with the prefix please let me know

I was about to install this on my server but then I saw that it lacks the mvm_ prefix. Would be nice if you could recompile with the full name.

We were playing this map tonight on the standard mission, and the bots got stuck in their spawn about 2/3rds of the way through wave 4. Sentry busters continued to come out, but the mission ceased to move forward from that point.

Well yeah the only existing guide to mvm mapping is mvm_example (and all it does is show you how to set up the game logic) so folks have to fill in the blanks with whatever horrors they come up with

@Sntr yeahhhh... Ive got a lot to learn still. But its ok for my first map, especially there being almost no helpful tutorials on how to maker mvm maps

-I can't stop laughing at this cliff, it looks like a smear frame from a cartoon https://i.imgur.com/69Aplf1.jpg

-The textures on the roof look really bad, consider angling them somehow so that black bar doesn't repeat horizontally like it's doing now. https://i.imgur.com/D5BzH8S.jpg

-hl2 textures look extremely out of place on a cartoony game like TF2 https://i.imgur.com/msx30y7.jpg

-Giants can get stuck when they spawn at their spawn entity, consider moving it a bit further away from the cliff

-Bots have some problems leaving their spawn at times, they keep humping that coaltown sign. Check the navigation mesh there and do some touch-ups so they'll be more consistent in leaving their spawn.

-The tank's entrance area shows up as a massive box of checkerboards, I think you forgot to pack a custom texture https://i.imgur.com/i6PiyyP.jpg

I'm not sure what to even say about the map creator himself not knowing about an upgrade station like that

But enough dumb jokes, I'm gonna give you some actual feedback (The pictures have broken cubemaps because the map was renamed due to the map lacking the mvm_ prefix)

-The map has no soundscapes, it's just dead silence. Ambient sound adds so much to a map, having a couple of env_soundscapes would really give a nice touch to your map.
-The map has no observer points so it just snaps into 0 0 0 when players load into the map. Sprinkle some observer points around, usually around the bomb paths.
-There's a big number of props that need their shadows disabled (Upgrade Stations and the stairs in front of the forward upgrade station come to mind)
-You should consider using nodraw on the parts of the map that players can't see, there's no point rendering the bottom of all the cliffs and the like when nobody can see there without noclip.

There are two stations, yes. But there is another upgrade station under the forward upgrade station (it even works!)
