i dont mean to be a meanie, but this is literally just a worse, less cooler Rock Drake with a platform saddle. The concept is cool, but the way it is made is just.... meh

I would do litterally anything for this mod to come back.. I absolutely LOVE the idea of a mobile base that can climb and cling to walls! i already have a mod that adds a giant scorpion with a platform saddle and i wish i could have this too..

if i could mod i would give a megalania rock drake abilities

yes this mod will autocrash your game and put u back to last save the second the mob spawns in your world

@Godslayer4000 sooo thats why when i puted this mod my single player ark crashed like after 15 seconds after starting right? bro now i need to start everything from scratch ;(

this mod is amazing but not for the reason u think, its an autocrash so its very helpfull for reseting arks

The mod is pretty much dead, for whatever reason the blueprint for the Gigalania is broken and does indeed cause errors. Whether i will release the new version i previously mentioned, i'm not sure. It requires more work to create a functioning wall climber with a platform saddle, as the concept has not been explored within the main game. Only time will tell whether i bring back the concept although i would like to sometime in the future, currently my time in the devkit is spent on some larger projects i've had in the works for a while. I will be sure to announce here when or if i revive the Gigalania.

Testing this mod with a collection I created:
ARK: Soul Torched EPIC Mod (Heavily Modded Collection)


The collection is heavily modded for a personal server and this mod causes a fatal crash even when re-downloaded. Proceed with caution. The mod was narrowed down with 4 other mods, and removing this mod fixes a fatal error on mutliplayer dedicated startup.

Ugh I was so wanting to add this to my server. Would fit in perfect. Guess I'll just wait for the new version.

@Tigramas this version is completely broken so i have started making a new version, it will take a while as i would like to have it working how i want it.

@Guilped recent ark updates have somehow caused the Gigalania to break and it crashes the game, ill be fixing it when the new devkit update is released

@JDCranke07 yeah the Gigalania is currently broken for some reason, i'll be fixing it when the new devkit update is released. (sometime next year)

Has there been a known problem with animation? I just spawned one of these in and the creature moved geographically, but it was just gliding in a standing position. Also, are there any incompatibilities with other mods? Adding this mod to my load list has caused two servers to consistently crash.

@JohnLPK Don't have any abberation mods just yet, when the devkit updates i'll have breedable abberation creatures and other similar types of mods like tamable rock drakes.

@Paradox You know, there's this tab called "Discussions", I'm not sure if you've heard of it. Most mod authors who don't have the spawn codes on the mod page post them there. Check there for the spawn codes.

I'd suggest heavier footstep sounds. The default footsteps on such a big creature sounds kinda...odd.
