Changed back to original circle marker, it now uses the color of your Arma 3 in-game UI. Set this in the game options. And it is larger and easier to see. This is just like the ACE3 tactical ping. This is a good compromise. I tried some graphics from the Internet, but they were so transparent for some reason, they were invisible.

I would need to find that graphic. Red is not visible if you have color blindness. I am adding a light blue warning icon. That is why BI are not using the red circle anymore.

Ah, I got my terms confused. I think the "tactical ping" is the option to point at something for your squad. While I was talking about the Mission Waypoint (same color as here) and the personal waypoint (white or silver), both of which are hard to see.

I could mod the waypoint icon as well I guess, I happened to find the config for this by chance, so I modded it.

It's true that the waypoint icon is hard to see in vanilla (did not know it was called the tactical ping).
