Perfect, use Spherikals then :)
Consuela 10. jan. 2022 kl. 9:29
Whats up with the color changes? Who asked for that? It says "Brighter Borders", not "Brighter and Different Border colors."
Spherikals mod wins out of all the border mods because of this.

Good questions to which I have no answers. Good that you figured out how to replace my files with yours. From this point on it's trial and error, until you are happy with the results.

Sorry to spam you with these questions but what im seeing in-game is rather confusing.
I have edited ALL of the .dds images found in your mod and replaced them by adding a large dark dot in the middle of the blue/yellow color bars (so the dark dots on the blue/yellow background make it easy to spot).

However in game some of the borders are not showing any difference at all, some are showing the dots (but a bit distorted) and some are just looking weird and even twitching a bit.
How does the game actually utilize these border_diffuse and border_internal_diffuse images?
Pimpin Pippin 16. dec. 2020 kl. 18:44
Also how do i actually edit or replace the .dds images in your mod with the ones i edited?
Do i do it through RPFM or somehow else?
Thank you for helping.
Pimpin Pippin 16. dec. 2020 kl. 18:19
Hey thanks for replying.
I did as you said and saw your mod has two .dds files
Should i somehow image edit those .dds images so they are brighter or replace them with other images?
Or is there a simplistic brightness number tweak i can do without actually editing these .dds images?
Thank you again.

You can open my mod with RPFM, extract the files and tweak to your liking.
Pimpin Pippin 15. dec. 2020 kl. 10:53
Thank you for working on this mod.
Could you please consider making an "extreme" version of this mod where borders are as max bright as possible?
I am having trouble seeing borders in many terrains (desert, snow...) even with your current Brighter Borders mod :(

Is this safe to use now with the lastest DLC and everything?

I have the same problem as @Jeslis, I cannot see the Regions within the Provinces. When playing as Vamps.
Its quite annoying :)
Jeslis 16. juli 2020 kl. 13:01
Basically the reason I asked is; There are lots of 'region specific' buffs for characters/heroes/lord, and I need to be able to see where the region borders are so that I can optimize their use.

ATM the only way to see region is to wait for the terrain tooltip to show up and read it for the location.. and do this inch by inch until you find where it changes.

Not fun.

@Jeslis Not sure...
Jeslis 30. juni 2020 kl. 0:37
Hello - I was wondering if this shows (or can be made to show) region borders within a province, even if you fully own the province?
kelstr 25. maj 2020 kl. 13:20
@ForthRight - Can you post it as a mod pls :)
Piglet 24. maj 2020 kl. 6:52
I managed to work it out and made the borders invisible. I'm amazed. :)
Piglet 23. maj 2020 kl. 10:10
I've managed to open the three dds files in a program called Gimp, but I have no idea how to edit them to make them invisible. This program is beyond me, it looks so complicated. :(
Piglet 23. maj 2020 kl. 8:16
Would there be a way to make the borders invisible in game?

I have opened Data pack in RPFM and found the border_diffuse.dds files but I have no idea how to edit them or what I would need to do. :(

Sorry to bother you, just wondering if this is even possible. Thank you.

I will update it either on Thursday or on Monday as I will be travelling on the weekend.

Does this mod need to be updated? If it does, how long do you think it will take to update the mod once the new DLC and update release?
