Yes, when they are done with the Game and Wh3 came out, which I won't buy/mod/play, till it is completed with all Dlc.

I don't know when the last Hotfix is coming or if there will still be another Dlc.

My Time is too precious to be wasted again with unfinished Games.

I'll also add that it's a catch 22 for CA. Perfect example is the AI running armies away from fights they can't win in Warhammer 1. You know, being intelligent. This resulted in an uproar from people raging that they had to you know, use tactics, to bait weaker armies into suiciding on the player army!

Rage eventually led to calls for mods to nerf the movement speed of AI armies so that a certain portion of the player base could keep their brains turned off and #win. So now we have mods dedicated to nerfing an AI that already struggles to be intelligent :)

Interesting article, and it pretty much confirms what most of us in the TW AI modding community have thought for a long time.

CA is more interested in providing a punching bag(I mean interesting personality!) than an AI that plays with some semblance of intelligence. Granted, the BAI has improved by leaps and bounds since Empire, and even the earlier games, but the CAI has incrementally improved at a much, much slower rate.

The behavior of Warhammer 2, and 3k are still operating off of slightly improved versions of the systems that drove Rome 2. I was heavily involved with Junaidi83 de Bodemloze when he was putting out his mod for Rome 2, and the stuff that he did in that mod is essentially the same stuff all current strategic AI mods do. We bump numbers up so the AI is slightly less lobotomized.

I will update it as soon as i play again again with the Game - the current Status is unknown; theres still Beastmen DLC Addition Rumors.

Probably we willll only know, when they have abandoned it for WH 3, like they always do...

Btw. im not gonna mod for at least 3 Years in Warhammer 3 after its Release, as im not wanna redo the Rollercoaster with an unfinished Game, as its the Standard nowadays with most Games.
They all need to age like good Wine -.-'

Did they buff hard campaign difficulty? Ive been losing on hard/hard because the ai can finance 3 armies to my 2, like lizardmen having an extra full stack of monster mash

They posted a Roadmap here on Steam with a Picture of how many Free Lc were and will be released.
Since now we get Glade Captain ,it will be 2 more Free Lc.

@Handsome Pete Thanks to the pandemic Warhammer 3 doesn't look like it's happening for at least another year, possibly longer. I would expect at least one or two more DLCs before Warhammer 2 is completed.

Where did you get November, we don't have any news about the next DLC.

@MINOS no the next dlc is not coming until november... and with the covid-19 and TROY maybe later for the next dlc and warhammer 3...

It got toned down for economical Reasons in the next Update.
Although im currently not leaning against playing the Game, as it took them so long for the current Patch, that i guess the next DLC is already incoming...

Use the Mod no walls for minor settlements .

I wish I could have this mod without it causing the AI to build walls in every minor settlement. It turns any campaign past turn 40 into a constant grind of sieges.
