CaesarVincens, love the mod but why no updates? Like if you could just updating to be on the latest version without any extra content would be enough:)

Ensure that you are on 1.13. It should be working there, but won't on later versions.

Map error message on starting the game. It seems to be broken for now. I'll come back when it's fixed. Seems promising.

Yeah, UI is definitely a long term goal. There are a couple mods in the workshop that make the map and interface more like Victoria II, but I don't think either is updated for 1.13 or later.

I just finished the first book! great job at detailing the lore of the story. I'm sure when the UI is updated it will look even better!

Your mod made me aware of the book series by Eric Flint and I was hooked instantly. Finished the first book in 4 days. Can't wait to see what the finished mod will look like.

@CaesarVincens okay, just wanted to make sure. I like playing mods that mess around with the time period since I prefer hoi4's more easy going focus trees versus the more complex stuff found in EU and Vicky

@Sotka, originally, I wanted to make this for the eventual Victoria 3, (which hadn't yet been announced in 2017), and I have some hope of eventually making a Vic3 mod, but that's a whole project of its own too.

I just wanted to wish you luck and say that it's unfathomably BASED that you made a Paradox game mod about the 1632 series. I hope someone would make a mod similar to yours for other titles too, like Victoria 3

@2icharlie, Sounds interesting. If you can put together at least a sketch for events and such, I'll see if I can implement it. You can post it in the Contributions chat here, or on the Discord or Paradox forum.

For a balkan uprising, I imagine it could be cool to do an americanized yugoslavia. like oh we work together at some point? the ottomans can be defeated? woo! then rise up about democracy n stuff. carefully avoiding any real life issues in it becuase, well, its a powder keg

So I need to play 1.13 in order to play the mod?

If you have ideas for what a Balkan uprising could look like, I'm happy to consider including that.

Reading the Ring of Fire book series makes me appreciate this mod.
Currently reading "1637: The Volga Rules", so I decided to play Russia in this mod to immerse myself a bit more.

Do you mean the Abrabanels, Rebecca's extended family? I'm fairly sure I have Don Francisco in, and it would be good to add other prominent members in some way.

I can't give an ETA for 1.14 support, but the mod should be fully playable by rolling back to HoI4 version 1.13
