this mod is awesome cause ive always wanted to be able to read the falmer language
Angelsjeger 27. juni 2015 kl. 9:25
I know in Morrowind that they often use the Daedric alphabet but the Dunmer I thought also had their own alphabet. Could you maybe get that alphabet translated. Although I don't think it exists in Skyrim (maybe it does in the Dragonborn DLC) but probably you can't get it into books. Maybe you could get Ayleid translations?? It maybe isn't a big mod but it helped me a lot, thnx for putting time into this stuff

@LokiTheSuperSaiyan There are only a few words in Daedric, from Morrowind, Oblivion etc. that are spoken. The rest of the language is meerly a replacement alphabet. The addition of Dragon Tongue in Skyrim was the first 'speakable' Language.
LOPTR 5. feb. 2015 kl. 8:56
@Jet in Dragon Tounge and Daedric you can.

But none of the other ones.
Jet  [ophavsmand] 5. feb. 2015 kl. 4:25
@LokoTheSuperSaiyan You can't speak in most of them...
LOPTR 4. feb. 2015 kl. 22:36
It's great if you want to learrn to WRITE in the languages of Skyrim, but not too great if you want to learn to SPEAK in them.

Glad to be of service.
Spargo23 31. jan. 2013 kl. 5:36
thank you this totally worked! XD

Jet  [ophavsmand] 30. jan. 2013 kl. 10:04
@tspargo99, try doing what I told 'Apollonatorbee' to do and disable all of your currently subscribed mods and only select my one. If it still doesn't work the only other options I can suggest are starting a new game, placing my mod at the bottom of your load order to avoid conflicts etc. Hope this helps...
sneed 30. jan. 2013 kl. 8:54
cool mod
Spargo23 30. jan. 2013 kl. 5:33
sorry, when I try and type in the code for the console command that you put up, it doesn't appear anywhere.
Jet  [ophavsmand] 29. jan. 2013 kl. 11:17
@tspargo99, as I said to 'Apollonatorbee', I need more information if you expect me to help you.
Spargo23 28. jan. 2013 kl. 12:34
It wont let me get the book
Angel no Tsubasa 26. jan. 2013 kl. 12:31
ok ty :D
Jet  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2013 kl. 13:38
It's a quotation mark, about the number two on the keyboard (UK). If you can't get it to work just type help languages 0 and look for it in the list.
Angel no Tsubasa 23. jan. 2013 kl. 12:12
how can i type " if it's the console command? (when i press " it open and close the console menu)
ZoBeeWitched 17. jan. 2013 kl. 20:15
thank you
Jet  [ophavsmand] 17. jan. 2013 kl. 8:22
@Apollonatorbee Try disabling all of your mods and only selecting my one. If it still doesn't work the only other options I can suggest are starting a new game, placing my mod at the bottom of your load order to avoid conflicts etc. If you are still having problems add me as a friend and feel free to ask me any questions you like.
ZoBeeWitched 16. jan. 2013 kl. 20:25
ok, I copyed the help cheat exactly but it didn't work so i tryed to do it differently but it just didn't work.
Jet  [ophavsmand] 8. jan. 2013 kl. 7:40
@Apollonatorbee, I'm going to need more information than 'why the hell wont it work for me' if you expect help...
ZoBeeWitched 7. jan. 2013 kl. 15:47
why the hell wont it work for me?
Jet  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2013 kl. 5:42
@viper, Don't use the command to place it on the ground. Use the command to place it in your inventory...
Piano Stevens 5. jan. 2013 kl. 18:57
whenever i place it with the cheat it just floats in the air and i cant pick it up.
mccheese 5. jan. 2013 kl. 16:27
Looks awesome.
DraxTemSklounts 5. jan. 2013 kl. 6:43
you should add aldmeris and other languages
Biraru-Sama 4. jan. 2013 kl. 20:06
So with this, we can actually read the Nordic Word Walls? This'd be rockin', if only we could hotkey books and misc items that aren't torches.
Jet  [ophavsmand] 4. jan. 2013 kl. 15:46
@Pteradox, It does, it has letters a-z. What do you think the writing is on dragon walls etc. I based this of a book from Skyrim that was used for Dev purposes, and all of this was in it. I just re-wrote it in a more user friendly manner and added it to the game.
Jazz_Alternate 4. jan. 2013 kl. 9:30
@awesome prussia you have to put it in " <-- those things. otherwise it won't work
Mulqueeny 4. jan. 2013 kl. 8:29
I like this as I'm a bit of a scholar when it comes to this game, I like spending my time collecting books and reading of the lore and history, this mod is most interesting to me.
Transsexual Power 3. jan. 2013 kl. 21:27
Interesting. I'll be watching this.
Pteradox 3. jan. 2013 kl. 18:23
I'd like to point out that the dragon alphabet does not correspond to the english alphabet. There are characters for different sounds, such as A, aa, and ah. It's all on the wiki.
Clongarb the ♥♥♥ Creator 3. jan. 2013 kl. 9:24
whenever i try the command i get the "compiled script not saved" error
Jet  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2013 kl. 8:28
@samuelp.johnson, good suggestion. I could make an 'Encoded Book' that tells the player the location of the sword. Inculing your suggestion with MrSimmix's creates potential for an exiting quest :) Thanks for the suggestions.
Jet  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2013 kl. 8:23
As various people have stated, the first two characters in the item ID relate to the load order of the mod. So to aquire the book type (Help "Languages of Skyrim" 0) into the console, or just (Help languages 0)
Jet  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2013 kl. 8:20
@MrSimmix, Very good idea, I'll have take your comment into consideration when I get a chance to make a quest for the mod. Which may be a while, as I'm busy with coursework and such.
Rapine Davier 2. jan. 2013 kl. 13:23
Good thing i knew daedric....but not much of that to read in........skyrim O_O
MrSimmix 2. jan. 2013 kl. 13:22
@RyanT95 For the quest: This guy(the guy where you get the book from) clearly had to steal the falmer language translations from calcelmo in markarth. Thus calcelmo will send someone to kill the thief and bring back his property. And thats where the dragonborn comes in. You (dragonborn) receive a letter from a courier requesting you to defend the thief from calcelmo's goons. Upon your arrival at the thief's house/cave/home you find him dead and the goons(that killed him) then try to kill you(the witness) not knowing that you are the dragonborn of legend. And then of course you get the book from his corpse or one of the goon's corpses. Cool mod. I'm defenitly subscribing and liking. I hope you use my quest idea.
Elphaba 2. jan. 2013 kl. 11:15
@hldinneen, the "Mage Script" is the Alphabet that appears inside the following books: "Oghma Infinium" and "Shalidor's Insights". This last book is a part of a larger book inside the TES data named "Arcane Scribblings".
Elphaba 2. jan. 2013 kl. 11:05
At the Mage Script, the alphabet starts at the third letter, which is "A". The first two "letters" are just the numbers "1" and "2" included by the quotation marks.
YamaRaju 1. jan. 2013 kl. 15:22
You must search this book in the Cheat Console with "help Languages".
The load order of your mods pretend the first two nummbers od the ID Code. For example xx000D63.
By the Way, i gave up to translate the texts on the Walls! ;)
o2B 1. jan. 2013 kl. 13:56
the correct id for it is "11000d63"
KoopatroN 1. jan. 2013 kl. 13:02
This mod looks pretty cool, But, Sometimes it's kind of nice to uhh, How do you put it... Ah yes, Actually fucking get it, This code does not work what so ever...
Blehiem 1. jan. 2013 kl. 9:33
make the quest for a sword that is only able to be opened if you use the book and you could fing the book somewhere in skyrim or the colledge of winter hold
VinchenzoTheJackal & Shoon 31. dec. 2012 kl. 21:53
This is nice. Though the book should be named "Exotic Languages of Skyrim", since the languages aren't common languages of Skyrim.
Also, the book itself shouldn't be ultra rare and accesable only via quest or cheat console.
The book should be a typical expensive book at shops.
Also, maybe you can make a book called "Common Languages of Skyrim", which can include Old Norse and Cyrodillic, which can be a more common cheap book, like ABC's for Barbarians.
Gigolo 31. dec. 2012 kl. 21:45
How would you pronounce words in this languages.
Deselous 31. dec. 2012 kl. 18:48
ya you might need to work on the dragon laguage to include the double vowels and others be sure to look on the skyrim wikki they have the entire alphabet to help out. even though this looks really nice can't wait for the quest.
Eruntano 31. dec. 2012 kl. 18:25
@ mr_creeper or if you are part of the Thieves Guild you can speak with Gallus. He wrote his journal in the Falmer language.
INS4N3S0CK5 31. dec. 2012 kl. 16:24
i think a better way to present this would be a normal book of languages, but maybe a mage or scholar got his hands on it, and scribbled his own notes in, making the player have to go deeper to understand it all, and maybe along the quest you find other copies owned by the same mage with notes that progress you further
Lloyd95x 31. dec. 2012 kl. 12:11
Certain notes written in other languages would be a great way to start quests, lets say readint the book for one seperate language grants the player a useless perk. Then they can go to a writing desk (similar to a grindstone) and convert the note into Tamriellic (English) IF the player has the respective perk. Reading that note then would then start this quest seemlessly. Wouldn't be too hard to mod in the CK either.
Vader 31. dec. 2012 kl. 9:36
I think you meant Languages of Mundus right?

@gramer.michal the first 2 letters/numbers depend on your load order. This mod's esp is in the position 08 in your load order.
