Ah yes that problem. Sometimes I move the hat in place, sometimes I make the hat a bodygroup to the original class compile files. I compile the model then I decompile it and the hat should be in place with the model. The reason why the hats spawn like that is how they were made or compiled or what so ever

And another thing in blender, is it annoying that if you import a hat but its in the bottom and you have to move it up on top of a random TF2 class?

I decompile the class and the cosmetics then I match up the cosmetics with the class and combine the cosmetics to the class. Then I mixed the weights at the area I want them to be apart of without any bugs (like putting scout's bag weights to one of his spines lastly rename the weights with the matching names of the skeleton. Then get ellis' skeleton and lastly pose it, apply reset pose, delete ellis and combine the skeleton with the class model.

Sorry if I didn't explain well I'm not great at explaining stuff like this :x

How did you make a TF2 Loadout/OC as a survivor in L4D2 with Blender? Did you ported the L4D2 skeleton into blender, ported a TF2 class along with cosmetics, match the bones to L4D2 skeleton and make a proportion rig to the qc? That's how you do it?
