CrazyFoxCat 24.9.2022 klo 19.31
i swear there was like a semi story to this where there was food u could eat weight gain/loss and npcs/areas where u could heal along with cold/heat is this bc theres some mod conflict im missing or is that a different mod/was removed.

Hey, it seems anything you spawn in will just drop through the map once it regenerates after dying. Tried spawning in some Predators, they worked the first time, then I died to them and next thing I see they are floating dead under the map. Even some rabbit enemies seem to drop under the map and die.

10/10 wow. Any chance of adding more tiles? If so, I'm down to chip in. Love your use of bushes around the larger trees
aplethoraof 22.7.2020 klo 7.32
Is this also supposed to generate enemies for you to fight? Or just an endless map?
Sorry I Start Fires 29.3.2020 klo 19.04
is there a way to have it so you don't see the level generate

For anyone wanting to know the Song. Although I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet, I do know of it's file location.

You want to go to "This PC" in file explorer. then take these steps to get to your location, or just copy and paste this into the File Explorer URL.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Overgrowth\Data\Music". After that, you should find a file called "Desert_Dust.ogg". There is your song in question. (This is assuming you've already downloaded this Black Forest Mod).

Hoped this helped! :os_niko:

hey man, you should tag this with open world. I thought undergrowth was the only one until I stumbled on this by chance.
Sir_Spirit1050 25.3.2018 klo 15.08
the ambient music is awesome what is it called?
Jenno 3.3.2018 klo 21.04
How does one play this with a different character. I try replacing turner with a different character but if i run around as anyone but turner, the level stops generating tiles.

Very good atmosphere, however it could use a few more enemies and a little less fog
ComatosePhoenix 30.10.2017 klo 19.18
This is amazing, the atmosphere and endlessness of the forest really works. I don't know if there is anything to find other than the occasional sword, and I'm not sure if I want to know. It might ruin the mystery of it.

What would be cool would be some script to automatically revive you when you die, fade out to darkness, remove all hostile entities from the map, and have turner limp upright to continue his wanderings.

so there was this book series I used to read (Redwall series by Brian Jacques) and it kinda took the concept of overgrowth, no humans, animals at war with each other, but the thing is, in the book they had some religion about the dark or black forest, and this reminds of that book. bravo, keep up the good work.

This is a legitimately interesting mod. However, sometimes there's far too little enemies and far too much land in between them. Also, there are no "group" encounters, so each enemy you find is basically a little bump in the road. Still, a great map.
Sinnah 1.10.2017 klo 11.16
Wow, this mod is so cool, reminded me of Slender man xD
Tiney Sonic 28.9.2017 klo 20.34
I really love this map but I wish I can use it when I load my edited character, the level generator doesn't work if you load in a custom character from the files
‡TheBrigadier‡ 26.9.2017 klo 17.41
Im so inspired by this.im confirming their are NPC to find, if i may ask a question and if you need to messag me private; how did you make those blocks and how did you make the script for generating the blocks its soo fucking swesome.
Night_Rage 21.9.2017 klo 22.57
Now, the only thing left to add, is NPC spawn points on the random blocks, so you can walk in any direction, and fight, in completely different areas. :D
CrimsonGamer99 21.9.2017 klo 18.57
This is awesome. It feels like I'm wandering about in Limbo.
Cyre 17.9.2017 klo 7.52
Very cool. Like Jack Noir said, would love for someone to expand on this.
Edit: I really want a mod that allows me to climb to the top of some of the really tall trees.
Crystalwarrior 17.9.2017 klo 4.55
This is pretty amazing, holy shit!
I hope someone uses this concept and builds even more procedurally generated environments.
Or maybe even go full Overgrowth Roguelike???
Eisenherz 17.9.2017 klo 4.01
Can I put my own character in there somehow?
MrEvan312 17.9.2017 klo 1.34
I love this, with the randomized AI encounters as well!
Nuculais 16.9.2017 klo 16.44
Really cool map.
Ives 16.9.2017 klo 0.16
Doesn't seem to work on the latest version.
