I tried the both versions of the fix and it's still causing me not able to boot up the game
Equinox 24. juli kl. 18:41
After tinkering for a while I just tried to boot up my mods without the wotc plugin, just the legacy One million colors and it worked fine with the new launcher.
NtheSasquatch 7. juli kl. 10:36
Still does not work after doing the fix
ItsDaKoolaidDude 22. juni kl. 9:26
@hyperrainbow
not sure how it's not working for you then, because it's been reliably working unless you didnt activate the mods in the launcher?
HyperRainbow 22. juni kl. 3:24
@Dantir @ItsDaKoolaidDude
Tried the fix and unfortunately nada
tried it on all 3 of the mods including sparks 1mil colour and still nothing. unsubed from all 3 and ran game then reinstalled the 3 and tried the fix and still doesn't.

Its worked for me, and its still working for me.
I literally posted the fix below
Flintier 17. juni kl. 15:54
please just fix your mod.
Khauli 7. juni kl. 20:41
It never worked.
Khauli 7. juni kl. 20:41
The addon doesn't work.
ItsDaKoolaidDude 5. juni kl. 20:13
@Dantir
Except 1133948141 already has "RequiresXPACK=true"
if it didnt show up the first time, verify file or resub to the mod to fix that.
Dantir 18. maj kl. 14:02
I solved the popup error:
Do what ItsDaKoolaidDude said, but do this instead under description:

tags=
contentImage=
RequiresXPACK=true

I did this for both OneMillionColours and the Plugin for Wotc, to save time, the folders you need to find is:
1091135816 and 1133948141
ezmaan 12. maj kl. 12:17
Fix the fcking addon plz
Srathovsky 11. maj kl. 9:33
It's not load up on my end for whatever reason. It work and then I turn the game off and back again and it's no longer work for whatever reason.
ItsDaKoolaidDude 21. apr. kl. 2:32
Just to save time because this is happening in OG mod as well and its on the thread there:
Go to the file 1091135816 and open the OneMillionColours.XComMod file (description file) (with wordpad or equivalent of it, add RequiresXPACK=true at the bottom and save. that'll shut up the game telling you the mod's missing its mod.
Grunt 14. feb. kl. 11:39
this is why you check the description in aml!
SynthLizard8 28. jan. kl. 0:56
@Atlander1 I'm equally pleased to have helped
Atlander1 27. jan. kl. 20:19
@SynthLizard8 oh my god that worked, your a life saver thank you so much :btd6thumbsup:
SynthLizard8 27. jan. kl. 15:19
@Atlander1 I ran in to a issue with the onemillioncolourspluginsforWOTC too, funny enough, I just used the mod with the old manager without the WOTC patch (just using the original), try that.
Atlander1 27. jan. kl. 15:03
Having trouble booting up the game with this mod. I try and use the old mod manager and it says there was an error detected attempting load of package: onemillioncolourspluginsforWOTC. I try and use the AML and the game just never starts. Am I stupid and missing something? Anyone know how to fix this?
SynthLizard8 21. jan. kl. 18:04
For anyone in the future that's having trouble, I fixed it by starting the game and activating the mods through the OLD mod launcher.
KFJohansson 5. dec. 2024 kl. 13:12
Thanks, author! :)
-bg-  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2024 kl. 16:24
that is a sign of the original OMC mod not being activated properly, the launcher typically has trouble activating mods made for the base game which the original OMC mod is, you may want to use AML instead https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher
The Jolly Jerker 4. dec. 2024 kl. 14:45
same as last 2 comments, game can't load with this enabled anymore for some reason
MrShadow 27. nov. 2024 kl. 16:31
same, launcher does not want to load the game with this mod active now.
KFJohansson 26. nov. 2024 kl. 4:07
Having an issue where the game has an error while loading the package "OneMillionColoursPluginForWOTC", anyone got any idea what could be the cause?
tako 18. okt. 2024 kl. 10:44
thank you, smooth on LW2
Malc 25. juli 2024 kl. 20:57
Don't have emptynames installed, still dont see the sliders, not sure what the issue is.
The Fat Wolf 7. mar. 2024 kl. 5:57
@Luna LeFay Thanks Luna for pointing this out. ^^
Luna LeFay 30. mar. 2023 kl. 18:05
@Seth1466 Thank you for this, I was trying everything wondering why it wasn't working. Disabling EmptyNames solved it for me.
CompleteTrash 18. mar. 2023 kl. 16:24
Can't see the sliders, but I have empty names disabled.
NYC AirLancer 9. mar. 2023 kl. 23:37
Is this compatible with mods that add additional colors?

When I try using it, I have no sliders and all the mod-added colors are gone. If I disable the additional colors mods, there are still no sliders. But I disable this mod, then I do have the additional colors from the other mods.

Also I'm not using the EmptyNames mod.
Seth1466 26. jan. 2023 kl. 13:24
For anyone not able to see the custom color sliders, there is a conflict with EmptyNames [WOTC] by thegrimsqueaker72. You will need to disable that mod in order for the custom colors sliders to show.

One Steam tag should be sufficient!

War of the Chosen

NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!
hottt3 17. nov. 2022 kl. 12:17
Seems not to be working with LWotC(
Optyk 5. apr. 2022 kl. 11:00
Installed this mod a few days ago with no problems, finished a campaign, then started a new one and the custom color sliders were not showing up. Using the suggested fix by C4nn0nF0dd3r_ made it work again. No idea what broke in-between the campaigns though.
xDreadbloodx 31. jan. 2022 kl. 15:04
does this mod work for lwotc
Freddy Ilak Dion (Shaal Jadothr) 4. jan. 2022 kl. 4:55
Hey uhm, there seems to be a problem with O.M.C, for whatever reason the sliders no longer work for me, the colours are all still there but the sliders aren't and all of a sudden now whenever I use this with Buildable Geth, I can't change the colours on the Geth units without the game freezing and then crashing. It wasn't like this before though as for the longest time I was just fine on being able to use O.M.C with the Buildable Geth mod but for whatever reason now this happens.
C4nn0nF0dd3r_ 19. juni 2021 kl. 3:07
@DuM4 try clearing ur config folder (document, my games, xcom war of the chosen, xcomgame, config, delete everything in that folder (should all be .ini's)), turn off your mods, start a game (you will have to set up ur resolution, keybinds, etc., again) then after you finish that close, turn on mods, and your mod settings will be reseted. if you arent using alternative mod launcher use that before you try this.
DuMa 10. juni 2021 kl. 11:35
Doesn't make any sense, it was working yesterday at night, and now it isn't anymore lol I'm getting crazy over this XD
DuMa 10. juni 2021 kl. 9:41
From outta nowhere this stopped worked for me for some reason. Not the pluggin itself, but the whole mod. It was working properly like... until today. I recorded my last episode yesterday, and this was working cause I've edited a spark normally.

I didn't install any new mods, so I don't get why this is failing me.

I tried the fix mentioned here, and it sadly didn't work.

plz help XD
chanlee 30. mar. 2021 kl. 11:21
The short fix worked for me for one game and then it immediately doesn't work anymore even when testing the mod by itself. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do by that point?
Homer Morisson 27. mar. 2021 kl. 19:03
Game doesn't start with 1 Million Colours + WoTC Plugin activated!

Error popup says "Error detected in [...]WotC Plugin file".
Xivorex 5. mar. 2021 kl. 16:23
BrokenImage321 you can look up on google the RGB for the color you want. I found a better sky blue color here it is 52 red, 80 green and 92 blue.
brokenimage321 3. mar. 2021 kl. 18:21
I'm really enjoying this mod, but I'm having troublw with certain colors. Certain bright colors just change to white, so, when I'm going for a sky-blue, I tend to end up with a darker, royal blue.

Can I ask how the color sliders work, and what sort of scale they use (CMYK, RGB, etc.?). It doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with...

Thank You Kerse!

Kerse Sep 17, 2020 @ 8:00am
If you're getting the error dialog box pop up that says "Error loading package" etc., see my posts in the comments of the base mod. The issue is with the base mod, not this WOTC patch.
Short version for fix:
Find the file OneMillionColours.XComMod in your steamapps/workshop/content directory and open it in notepad. Add "RequiresXPACK=true" (without quotes) on a new line below the description.
Dai 25. feb. 2021 kl. 13:08
Works with Kerse's recommended fix

Thank you for the link, I don't see myself having much experience with my customisation mods. What a shitty update.
