This mod still works perfectly. I have made a few modifications to it though, like making it compatible with AGOT, and adding AI behaviour modifiers. Would you be OK with me posting my tweaked version @Nitrocidic moat.gg ?
FireSuperiorityComplex 28. nov. 2018 kl. 19:31
Seems to work still for me

This mod is outdated and I will no longer support it. I will make a new similar mod once I find the motivation to.
Arrek 14. nov. 2018 kl. 12:09
Agnatic in the trait propeties means children of the father will always inherit the trait. Children of a mother with it will not.

So I've started a few games with demigod trait and I can only have daughters even on "have a son" ambition. I have char creator, legacy of rome and sons of abraham. The daughters are inheriting the "Demigod" trait.
jojobe 14. juni 2018 kl. 15:17
it gives it to both males and female. NOT just males in my game.

would you please consider adding every positve buff to the trait. Not too crazy amounts but something resonable like : +100% levy size and reinforce rate, +100% tax modifier, -100% build time, etc.

Awesome mod
Punished  [ophavsmand] 19. dec. 2017 kl. 4:34
@Pat It should, notify me if it doesn't. The mod only adds a single trait so it shouldn't be incompatible.

@zXero You could, yes.
Hereward 18. dec. 2017 kl. 8:02
Can I just add the trait with console commands if I don't own the Ruler Designer?
Patsfat2 25. nov. 2017 kl. 6:14
does this work with jade dlc?
Brød. 2. nov. 2017 kl. 7:07
Yeah 15 will suffice i guess :)
SiLK 1. nov. 2017 kl. 18:01
at 15 health they are probably going to live to around 100 which is far more reasonable nearly double the average lifespan
Punished  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. 2017 kl. 13:55
I think 15 health bonus will do. Would that cause any problems?
Brød. 1. nov. 2017 kl. 4:05
Easy Solution ? Nerf the Health Bonus to something around 5-10. This will make all trait holders get to a ripe age without most of the problems i described.
Punished  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2017 kl. 23:38
Hm, I'm not sure how to fix that.
Brød. 31. okt. 2017 kl. 23:22
I like the idea of the mod and i played ~200 years with it on now. The 100 Health are a Devil in Disguise. Since you are not immune to Health modifiers ALL of the Demigod Characters become Incapable at some point (70 years onward). Your character literally becomes a cage you cannot escape from - i begged my son to kill me but and he refused to do so which left me lie there, on my bed for ages to come. the characters can easily become 200 or more years.

Fun times.

I solved the problem by using a cheat mod to heal my characters from the ailments.
Nekosempei 6. okt. 2017 kl. 23:29
On the inheritance thing, Considering I tend to play with successions/gamerules that allow female inheretence, and I marry off my sons for alliances.. That could still happen for me, or atleast spread the demi gods around. heeh. Still fun.
Punished  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. 2017 kl. 13:11
Thats the entire point of this trait. Its not meant to be a cheat trait that costs -999 points. It's meant to be a large buff for your characters, not "cheat" level buff, just a large buff.
jojobe 26. sep. 2017 kl. 8:25
It would have been great if you made getting it 0 points even better if it was -30 But as is your like 50 years old

Basically what I'm trying to say

Other people don't seem to realize, why making this trait patrilinial only is a good thing. If this trait would also be inherited by daughters, soon all rulers of your religion will be demi-gods, because marrying your daughters to other houses is too important.

And even if daughter have had a 25% chance of inheriting this trade, just picture this scenario:
Your ruler dies and you were able to produce 10 children. But 9 of them are male and the only daughter has the trait "demi-god". At the same time you need to marry a daughter for an alliance to secure your power.

Also, this mod is basically a very powerful version of Sayyid and Mirza in its way of inheritance. Although daughter of a Sayyid inherit the trait, all of her children will be Mirza- unless she marries a Sayyid, of course -, which is not inheritable. And I never saw anyone, who had a problem with this mechanic.

This is my first mod, and I still don't know much about traits, so how would I make that happen?
65y KIKO 18. sep. 2017 kl. 8:49
How about a 75% chance of passing it on to a male child and 25% chance to pass it to a female child? That way, there would still be a possibility of female demigods
Lady Crimson (RIP) 17. sep. 2017 kl. 18:47
I just want Wonder Woman.
Punished  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2017 kl. 17:51
(Pardon any mistakes, I'm tired)
Punished  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2017 kl. 17:51
And even if I made it just matrilineal, it would still be too inefficient anyways.
Punished  [ophavsmand] 17. sep. 2017 kl. 17:50
"Why are these traits always patrilineal"

1. If it was also matrilineal, there would be too many demigods in too many dynasties (because non-matrilineal marriages are the norm, children born to the mother will be of the fathers dynasty [which is not what you want if you're randomly marrying off your daughters]. So if its both patrilineal and matrilineal, the map would be flooded with demigods way too fast).
dyjost 17. sep. 2017 kl. 13:22
still neat idea though
dyjost 17. sep. 2017 kl. 13:21
hmm, it'd be nice if this was
A. not patrilineal
B. allowed for greek pagan as a religion
C. had different stat buffs ect based on the deific father or mother
Incorporeal 17. sep. 2017 kl. 13:11
Why are all these sorts of traits and such damn near ALWAYS patrilineal? Am I the only one who actually enjoys playing female rulers in this game?
Punished  [ophavsmand] 16. sep. 2017 kl. 17:38
@below

basically yea
Ness 15. sep. 2017 kl. 2:33
@Hipstherium whilst the immortal trait gives 10 health it also has a hidden bonus of "immortal" which prevents lots of event deaths and the like, this trait presumably does not have it
★Jaw★ 14. sep. 2017 kl. 15:18
100 health? Damn, assuming my character isn't assassinated due to my kindness, I'm pretty sure they could live from the first start date till whatever is last. Which is awesomely crazy.
VOID CONTROL 14. sep. 2017 kl. 15:01
but health only prevents you from dying from deseases and old age.
VOID CONTROL 14. sep. 2017 kl. 15:00
"100 health does not make you immortal"
the immortal trait gives +10 health in the base game.
Ys 14. sep. 2017 kl. 12:12
"Not overpowered, just gives you +15 in every stat and a +30 in martial"

Tbh, I think +10 to every stat would be overpowered. And maybe make the general opinion -20 for the trait because you are a DEMI-GOD
Antares 14. sep. 2017 kl. 12:02
With +100 youre basically immortal. The Immortal trait in most mods adds +10 health and thats enough lol. Good mod though!
Erawolf 14. sep. 2017 kl. 7:01
+15 to each stat is still a lot unless you are slow, inbred, etc :D
-Killerwolf 14. sep. 2017 kl. 6:09
The trait I've been looking for!
Karizen: Praetor's Herald 14. sep. 2017 kl. 3:05
