It's been almost 4 years since I last worked on the model and I'm honestly not really feeling like working on it again, at this time anyway. I do believe that the issue is caused by something other than the model, though as I don't recall anyone else mentioning of this issue. Perhaps an issue with the weapon that is being used? I'm not sure, but sorry I couldn't be of further help
