*Whistles* Martyr's Square, the Marine Academy, the National Naval Academy, and Itsukushima Shrine (wonders I use from several other mods, including a few of your own), all in one. Great concept but this is as OP as using a nuke for riot control.
Uncle Gleeglorx 17. dec. 2014 kl. 6:49
maybe just sea units and no faith for sea resources? or faith for one specific resource? (crabs maybe since there's no faith for crabs int he game. or whales. or fish. not pearls.)
Uncle Gleeglorx 17. dec. 2014 kl. 6:48
20 xp! 3 faith for sea resources! holy shit, this is incredibly OP. I thought the Shinto gate one was a little imbalanced, but this one is just incredible.

I went there. Very nice. Bay is full of sharks.

Though I usually scoff at the claims of 'overpowered' from many people with these mods, I will say that this one is a bit... well, you know. I think +20 XP and Amphibious is a great bonus, but I think adding that with the +3 Faith makes it overpowered. Taking away that Faith bonus would be a great compromise, since the fact it's a temple to a War God is pretty well exemplified through the XP and bonus promotion already.

Thank you for making and sharing this mod. I love adding new wonders to my game but I too feel your wonder is good but over powerd. +20Xp + a free amphibious promotion is already powerfull compared to other wonders. The +3 faith per see resources unbalances the game. Please let me know if you decide to make a less powerfull version of this mod.

oops, I wasn't clear in my original post. I mean land units I built there.

Maybe another mod I am using is messing it up.
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2013 kl. 23:12
You should only see it in units that are trained in the city after the wonder is built, like with the Heroic Epic
Karamethien 3. apr. 2013 kl. 21:55
When I used this yesterday I didn't see the Amphibious Promotion added to my land units. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for the feedback, however this wonder has been made for a scenario with this specific effect requested. Once the scenario is developed and is independent of this wonder I'll be able to change it, but in the mean time it'll need to remain as-is, I'm afraid
MindRunner 21. mar. 2013 kl. 6:09
HI Pouakai. I've checked lots of your wonders. They’re good but overpowered.
It makes no sense that just a wonder would give more of something than a whole empire, with all their cities and buildings.
Consider a city with 6 sea tiles (6*4=24 faith!). Now consider 4 cities with a shrine and a temple (3 * 4 = 12 faith). Even if they had another wonder like Stonehenge (+5 faith and *nothing else*) they wouldn’t get close, so this is clearly overpowered.
If someone wants to win easily, than they can play on the Settler level and in case they want to play against unfair advantages (in case another civ builds this wonder) then they can play on harder levels like immortal or deity. :)
A good thing you did was connecting some wonders with specific branches of policies (e.g. Traffalgar Square).
Please review you "policy" for the benefits of your wonders, so that they don’t disrupt the game mechanics completely. Thanks for your effort and please accept this as a *constructive* criticism.

May I suggest simply toning down the xp bonus? Perhaps adding another small benefit, if you like. I love this mod for its flavour, but rarely use it - I do prefer to avoid unbalancing elements.
Langor 9. jan. 2013 kl. 1:08
Good mod, good picture description. But I agree with the others. Too OP.
Melancholic Mephistopheles 21. dec. 2012 kl. 20:31
Good to see buildings able to promote naval units
Melancholic Mephistopheles 21. dec. 2012 kl. 20:30
Remove the 20xp for land units. Too overpowered
SaDOS 17. dec. 2012 kl. 14:47
And who says I am not allowed to like "Overpowered" mods? :)
Sage of AntiquarianEsquivalience 15. dec. 2012 kl. 20:53
+20 xp is, in and of itself, really broken. The Brandenburg Gate with its 15 xp is already pretty abusable when combined with the other military xp buildings, a city turning out soldiers that are instantly level 4 is very scary.
SaDOS 15. dec. 2012 kl. 0:39
I think it is just fine as is, please don't change it.
P.S. my editor doesn't work, any ideas on how to fix this?
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2012 kl. 13:15
Fair enough - was just making sure we were both on the same page. This is made for the Pasifika scenario as part of Terra Novus, so I'll talk to the guy in charge of the scenario and see if he's fine with changing it
Jacek 14. dec. 2012 kl. 11:37
Maybe instead of XP it should give flat bonus to faith. Just a thought.
Jacek 14. dec. 2012 kl. 11:36
Yeah, I get that. My point is that extra Xp + nice free promotion + quite sweet faith gain i stoo much. I would drop the extra XP, but hey! It's your mod.
Cheers
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2012 kl. 11:19
The Colossus adds one gold per water tile . If I was to add 3 faith per water tile then I would agree that would be overpowered. But this is for water resources (Fish, Pearls, Crab, Whale). If you were to have 10 in the city range then that city will be powerful anyway
Turow ☦ 14. dec. 2012 kl. 10:18
You may have 10 and gain 30+....

That is so f- up.

Well, sorry, perhaps we are not saying it the right way. We feel it is overpowered. Why then is not the colossus made to produce +3 gold for each water tile?

Nevermind.
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2012 kl. 9:21
Each water re source. You might only have one resource nearby.
Jacek 14. dec. 2012 kl. 6:06
That wonder is totally over-powered. +20xp, free promotion and totally insane faith gain. Too much.
Otherwise it IS a really nice flavour.
Turow ☦ 14. dec. 2012 kl. 4:24
+3 Religion for each water source?

You think that is balanced?
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2012 kl. 20:59
Guess what: There are. All of the wonders in my CivFanatics topic [forums.civfanatics.com] that were made prior to the release of G&K are currently for Vanilla. Next time, try not to yell?
hawkokas 13. dec. 2012 kl. 18:08
WHY IS THERE NO WONDER MODS FOR VANILLA???
blueoxbot 13. dec. 2012 kl. 17:22
mahalo bradda
jimmybackman1 13. dec. 2012 kl. 14:52
Goku approves of King Kamehameha!
Pouakai  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2012 kl. 11:12
For each sea resource. How powerful that is depends on your placement
Turow ☦ 13. dec. 2012 kl. 11:05
+3 faith for each tile? wtf
gaius214 12. dec. 2012 kl. 5:26
interesting wonder. Nice flavor.
Ninesss 11. dec. 2012 kl. 6:35
hey bra thanks for makin this, hate how they have not really done a lot for the hawaiians/ poly in this game
