@Moose. This was a workaround for a bug related to Staff Rooms with “Needs” enabled, not for canteens specifically.. The bug has been fixed (finally) as of V14k, so this mod has been depreciated (I just haven’t gotten around to updating the mod info). You would only need this mod now if you are running an older version.

Never had this problem, as long as you put a canteen under staff only it should rename itself to staff canteen. Perhaps there was a bug that had this problem but I haven't seen one yet.

Nothing is as permanent as a temporary fix..

Hi! I could NOT get this mod to work at first despite Staff Needs disabled and clicking apply in Extras -> Mods option. The one little detail that was missing is that you need to TICK the grey box in the listed mods window, it confirms with an X (counterintuitive, this may feel like you are deleting the mod from the list but you are actually activating it). After box is ticked click Apply and voila! Mod should work now

@valdar yes i disabled everything and then turned it on as the only thing enabled and staff needs are dissabled so yea. i found the mods and i was like lemme look and found this i was happy af maybe if i restart the game gonna see in a minute

Do you have any other mods installed/enabled? Also, did you enable this mod? From within the game menu, go to "Extras->Mods" and tick the box for the mod. Then click "Apply.

As mentioned above, don't use the mod if you have Staff Needs enabled . With Staff Needs enabled, the staff need food and there is no error. The error / bug only presents when you have Staff Needs disabled , and it’s only then that you should use the mod to remove the error. Just FYI, even with Staff Needs enabled, you don’t need a staff kitchen. The staff meals are delivered by truck (in blue crates) and distributed to the staffroom serving tables by workmen.

@Valdar : Yea you are right, it is bug, I enabled the mod now my little staff kitchen wont send food to the staffroom, arent they meant to ?

I think you misunderstand. The error is when you DON’T have staff needs enabled. Even so, an error message indicating that there are no prisoners to eat in your staff room is clearly incorrect. I guess it's semantics, but I think that nearly everyone would agree that it fits the definition of a bug.

No one would by design. The screen cap above is from a converted office that I was using for testing and the workman hadn't removed it yet.
