Its standalone MOD..

It's so simple, but it looks great. The only problem I had with the original is that it was too yellow, whereas the real-life SCAR rifles are more of a tan/FDE. Your mod looks much more correct.

One question, does this require the original mod to be installed, or is it a standalone mod?

Ok for those asking how to change weapon name:
You need to install GCFScape.. Once installed you need to do the ff:
1. Open GCFscape, navigate to SteamApps/common/insurgency2/insurgency/insurgency_misc_dir.vpk
2. Open that file and you will see a bunch of folders.. open resource folder and search for insurgency_english.txt
3. Extract that file to your desktop or copy it directly into: SteamApps/common/insurgency2/insurgency/custom..... if "custom" folder is not there yet create one.
4. Inside custom folder, create another folder.. name it weapon_names
5. Inside weapon_names folder create another folder name it resource.. put the insurgency_english.txt file in there.

6. Now open that englist.txt file and you will see the UI names, just scroll further down to see the weapon names.. You will see some lines like this:
"weapon_inventory" "INVENTORY"
"weapon_kabar" "Karambit"
"weapon_gurkha" "Khukuri"
"weapon_model10" "S&W Model 10"
7. Edit the weapon name in the right under "INVENTORY".. dont touch the one on the left, as you can see I changed the knife name to "Karambit"

I tried searching the game directory but couldn't find the file that states the names of the guns. Could you or anyone who knows how help me? Much Appreciated.

I used to do some from a long ago... before this vpk thing was introduced.. Im Gunzii from Gamebanana actually.

The gun is fabulous, but u forgot the custom flashlight that the original mod contains, and now it's just a white something, maybe just for me.
