Timmy Fell Into The Well!?

I went into Creation Kit and could not find the key. It wasn't anywhere in the Whiterun Market cell, and there was no key in the list of all existing Keys in the game. Furthermore, I saw no link ref links between the doors for them to propperly work, despite the door clearly saying in game that it leads to bottom of the well.

As it's been a while since I've played with doors, I am not yet prepared to look into what I need to do to fix this mod to get it to work for me.

does it work now? co im gonna download it if it does!

Man, there is a problem about your mod. First, there is no key on the ledge of the well. Second, when I save my game when I in the well, I can't load my game and it will just stop and freezing on loading screen. sorry for my bad english anyway.

I've read great things about this mod, but I couldn't even figure out how to get in. :steamsad: That said, the concept is excellent and I always thought it would be a great place for a get-away.

not to stop on your parade but i spent a week trapped down there (skyrim time) bfore i ran out of food and died (hunger mod)

I loved this mod, but upon relaunching skyrim, the entrance to the well is gone.
NovaBearBear 1 Mar, 2015 @ 11:07pm
this makes me so happy
Sherble_Incarnate 19 Feb, 2015 @ 8:37pm
Was looking for mods to get for a new start in Skyrim. I deleted all my mods and I added some other ones for a different character. Because I do that, and when I saw this, I immediately subbed because this would be perfect for just starting out, and I don't really expect to be in here much, but for a roleplay type playstyle like I am going for, I am playing through the story on my Xbox an I am using PC for rp playstyles and such. Thank you so much for making this.

Not sure why, but the key is NEVER there in my game. I reload over and over, and nothing. it forces me to pick the lock every time.
avalongabriel 2 Jan, 2015 @ 10:04am
Very nice, simple idea. I especially like all the gold at the bottom--it would be a good home for a greedy character just starting out in Skyrim. :D
szymonb1 1 Jan, 2015 @ 3:48am
You can do same well in the Skaal Village?
AimzOff! 17 Sep, 2014 @ 8:39pm
I'm going to subscribe to that... Could be like a secret place for stolen goods, or a secret getaway. assuming guards don't follow you down there haha
Sabre 17 Aug, 2014 @ 6:45pm
Good for if you choose to be a thief.
C. C. 8 Jul, 2014 @ 9:07am
this is very unique and interesting lol
ev3rlastin 3 Jul, 2014 @ 5:41pm
it would be really cool to get to the house you jump in the well.
Mimi 29 Jun, 2014 @ 4:35pm
I wish I would have seen this mod before buying the home in whiterun :/
TemerLaGargola 23 Mar, 2014 @ 12:02am
Nice and basic.
I love it!
Install Wizard 30 Jan, 2014 @ 5:37pm

Puddin' 4 Dec, 2013 @ 3:06am
Genious.
Izlawake 17 Sep, 2013 @ 10:33am
its nice, but I think it would've been better if you made a custom dungeon and quest associated with the well. Sorta like the bottom of the weel from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've been looking for something like that. I dont have a shot in hell as my modding skills are zilch. If anyone finds something like that, let me know. To give your mod credit, this is good to store your gear while saving up for the breezehome
Gert 30 Aug, 2013 @ 3:52pm
This is the perfect place for my hermit home in whiterun!
MisterTallyman 9 Aug, 2013 @ 12:15pm

frothlord 7 May, 2013 @ 3:23am
Nice i found it had an argonian/theif/orhpan sorta gist about it all in all a realy neat mod
Mora 5 May, 2013 @ 4:47am
This is a really neat mod. Especially since most player housing is over the top. My only thought on improvement would be making it so that followers can enter.
Ironside451 3 May, 2013 @ 5:20pm
Whill all the dead bodys i throw down there show up? XD
HereKittyKitty 17 Apr, 2013 @ 10:19pm
Thats a good idea, and its a great mod ; )
Ghost  [author] 17 Apr, 2013 @ 10:55am
@ Ardor lol indeed! I was actually planning to use that when I made a full scale Bottom of the Well mod. In the middle of the well it goes down to a river, which normall would carry rain away since it's so far down. But I figured there has to be sometime when the water level rises like alot of melting ice during spring for example, hence the flooded entrance version. I may still finish that mod at some point :D
HereKittyKitty 17 Apr, 2013 @ 4:06am
I hope it doesnt rain...

@DragonSlayer983 Usually the launcher will give you that message if you have unsubscribed a mod through the workshop, but left it in your mod list.
Pudge 14 Mar, 2013 @ 7:57pm
I Subscribed and it said "Failed to sync subsribed mods".
Har_May 9 Mar, 2013 @ 7:09pm
Nice mod, at first, I thought it was Bottom of the well from OOT
Emerauld 27 Feb, 2013 @ 8:48am
What a great idea for a beginning abode. Just can't give up my "Better Whiterun" though.
TeeHendee 21 Jan, 2013 @ 10:53pm
Thanks man I found the Key haha it was right infront of my eyes :P but when I try to leave the well, often I would find myself glitched under the map. Is it because I have the enhanced Whiterun mod?
Ghost  [author] 21 Jan, 2013 @ 12:29am
Updated description with location of the key. It's on the ledge of the well just above the trap door, though it's possible to knock it off by jumping into it. Sorry about that. I had trouble with the info section of this page while trying to update it and I may have cut that part out and forgot to put it back. Thanks for pointing that out!
TeeHendee 20 Jan, 2013 @ 2:02pm
It says I require a key to open it, where can I get my hands on one of these keys o.O?
Petta Dragonne 8 Dec, 2012 @ 8:08am
Just wanted to follow up -- I don't think that it was this mod that caused the weird start to the game. I continued to have problems even after I uninstalled and deleted it from my data files. I think there may either be a glitch with one of the other mods or it may be a glitch that involves having data files installed before starting a new game. If anyone does have problems with this, it works if you just uncheck all of your mods before starting a new game. Then when your game is underway, you can go back and recheck the ones that you want. This does not seem to cause any further problems down the road.

Caban 7 Dec, 2012 @ 10:10am

frogprincess_q4 6 Dec, 2012 @ 4:11pm
I love this little starter house, especially for an Argonian. I'm looking forward to checking out your full mod when you upload it to Steam.
SamusCroft 5 Dec, 2012 @ 2:09pm
pretty AWESOME mod.

Nefnoj 4 Dec, 2012 @ 9:57pm
I'm conteplating on when I should download it, I haven't actually tried it yet. Thankfully, you're a good salesman, and have officially convinced me to dwanload thine product.
Ghost  [author] 4 Dec, 2012 @ 9:47pm
@ Nefnoj in the Nexus section of the description I have details on how to switch, but if you havn't done much yet I would remove this mod and only use the nexus version, they can't be active at the same time without some issues.
Nefnoj 4 Dec, 2012 @ 9:42pm
Quick question: if I am to dwanload this mod, do I dwanload both this one AND the Nexus one, or only the Nexus one?
