peace was always a option, until the combine came and breen ruined everything, to learn the story, play all of the maps starting from chapter 1 to Chapter 13, (which is obviously the last and final chapter in the game)

Valve did not make Garry's mod, they made the hl2 engine on which Garry's mod is based on. If Garry were to include the Half-Life 2 campaign (whether it's free or not) it would be a violation of the copyright Valve holds on their licensed product. Even if Valve did make this game, a random person cannot upload copyrighted material from another game the company made. That person does not hold the right to release Valve's product to the public without permission from the owner of said product. If Valve decided to release the maps to the public without charge, they have every right to do so. However, this person does not have the right to release Valve's work to the public. This is illegal and they are infringing on their rights as a company.

it isnt illegal cause its still a valve game and to just buy hl2 yea its the base game and a great game but the gmod version is for like if u want to use m9k or spawn other items
