Follow up comment. I finally was able to make it work. 30k cims later, it is choked to death with traffic. Now that I am a bit more experienced with the game I could have seen it coming. The connections to the top road are too narrow for all the traffic this generates once zoned. I think it looks nice but doesn't work long term.

Hey! that is great. Now, I cannot make my highway to connect to your elevated highways... it is stuck in unconnected. It snaps but it does not connect, I end up with two ends on top of each other... any ideas? I am sure I am doing something wrong.:steamfacepalm:
