It has a 5 year mtth random event, can only be used once per enemy, and is player only.

that really doesn't make a -50 opinion malus with everyone who does believe the rumors any better, considering how the ai often is.

Realm characters have the option to disbelieve the plot and sour relations with the rumormonger, as well as just ignore them outright if relations are bad already.

You seem to have let this mod get into your genocide mod. Just a bit of a critique since it ended up there, -50 opinion with everyone from your rival or vassals on a random event (that also seems to stack since I ended up with -100 with my wife once) is kiiiiinda dumb. Especially since you can't fight it, you can't clear your reputation or restore it, you just have to take -50 opinion, which more than likely will lead to most, if not all, large realms falling apart because of one bad rumor. Whether or not that's historically accurate, I can assure you that it's not mechanically fun to have your wife plot your murder over rumors while you have the family focus on.

how do you think spy in the war?

If you have a spy, while you are sieging an unopen province you should randomly get an event that asks if you want the spy to open it for you, that puts a modifier on the province that makes the siege faster.

Cleaned up the code a bit and description, adding indentifiers to the rumor event(and limited it to once per target)

@Lillia I looked into BnN, they actually have a PoD service, Nook Press, but sadly I tried a half dozen times to put A Tale of Intrigue on it and they refused to allow me to sign up. Hopefully you can make a detour to CreateSpace or Amazon for a copy, or if not, I could send you a copy of the eBook.
