This might be a bit overpowered since you can get Brimstone or Incubus from Abel carry or Bob's brain. Fortunately (for the sake of balance) it's a one-time use. I would suggest that bad familiars get turned into weak devil pool items while powerful or angel pool items get turned into the stronger items.

This is a cool fun item. A custom animation would be cool but probably be a lot of work. Like a pentagram gets drawn on the screen and the familiars enter it before becoming an item.

This is... actually really cool. I like this idea a lot. Its right on theme and its not Ridiculously over the top OP. Its fairly balanced and actually makes it so that taking a terrible familiar (Brother Bobby) isn't all that terrible anymore. Its innovative, Turns negatives into positives, and DOESN'T break the game at all. Nice work.
