Great addition to the game.

Should have been:
Click Left -> Normal Attack Right
Hold Left -> Strong Attack Right
Hold Right -> Block/Parry
Hold Right, Click Left -> Normal Attack Left

This way you're trading strong attacking with your off-hand weapon in favor of blocking/parrying, but giving you proper weapon control.

Random left-right attacks are absurd. The point in using two weapons is that you for example fight with weapons with other functions (etc. dagger and the sword, axe and soul capturing mace). This mod gave double wapons fighting absolutely necessary function, but on the other hand it made it senseless. Mod got big potential, but also a disappointment for me, so I move for double parrying mod with hand choice on Steam Workshop! :)

This mod: I never dual wield without it! It breaks power attacks while on horseback, though.

Hey Ive tried out the dual wield parry mod, pretty cool stuff. However I had originally looked into it while trying to find a way to parry as a spellsword, vampire inspired and all that junk. Any idea where I can find such a mod that allows you to parry with your weapon while you have an active spell in the left hand? Or anyone whose good at making these mods take it into consideration to make one? cheers guys! :)

Other than that, this mod rocks. I used to get really frustrated when I couldn't block incoming attacks, so this works great!

Do you think you could add the ability to do a double-handed power attack? Like I don't mind having no control over which sword I'm swinging when I just want to do a single-handed attack, but sometimes I miss being able to swing both swords at the same time. I think maybe if you replaced that "extra move" (the one that's executed by pressing LM while blocking) with a double-handed attack, that would be better. I might do this myself, in fact. Don't worry though; I won't publish it.

Does this mod work with dualist?

Nexus page shows an update in February of 2014 but after reading the bugs I went straight to the giants for test. Giants do not move - they are hard as rocks. I believe I read about a giant bug fix. This version of the mod must need that bug fix.

Could you make this mod configureable in the SkyUI? Maybe that the user can chose a key with which he wants to block instead of just using the righ button, this would enable the magic and staff usage while being able to block.

I'm not able to block; when I hold on right click it still power attacks.

Jewell: Yes, it works great with an XBox controller! Just press and hold the left trigger to block. You can still duel wield by pressing and holding both triggers, or power attack by pressing and holding the right. (I love this mod!)

you should make the strikes alternate, so like "left, right, left, right, left, right" and so on

why dont you remove this vesion and upload the more advanced version if they allow you to do the same thing except one offers the ability to customize more?

you should put the "block" on the M3 mouse button (mouse wheel) ;) so you can block without taking away some attack moves. before this mod you can do a left hand power attack while running. i miss that :( ......... sorry for my bad english :P

What most people don't realize who play rpgs but have never actually picked up a pair of melee weapons is this: when one is in life-or-death combat while holding two weapons instead of a weapon and shield, said combatant isn't thinking, "Okay, I'm going to block with my left weapon and and attack with my right." If they are, they're either just starting out or not very bright. If they've had any training and actually absorbed any usable knowledge, they're thinking something more like, "Incoming attack! Block with same hand! Attack with opposite! Go, go go!!" Very nice rendition of that concept, well done. :)
