@HiGh-O- why don't you use Cheat Engine if you're needing more money for upgrades...? I set my money at 999,999,999 and that's more than enough money even with creating a team in F1 ;o) Plus I only use ICE mod (no offence to Mechanixm) I only just checked his mod right now to see if it was worth getting or not...

Great concept, but it breaks the GT mode. All AI teams are bankrupt the second season due to the immense chassis costs. In vanilla a chassis ranged from 3 to 12 million. Now it starts at 15. All teams just stop functioning. Also, the increased HQ costs make it impossible to run an upgraded HQ since the income doesn't change.

I wasn't aware that the characters weren't colourful enough. I suppose I could also randomize appearance and uniforms too?

Colourful as in their stats are nolonger unique, in the vanila game, yes there are alot of aweful drivers and character, but most have a certain skill that makes them stand out and more so at lower leagues when these attribute are extremely chaotic, for instance, in long games you want drivers who have endurance, and short games you might want drivers who are good at over taking. In this mod, the normalisation is abit heavy and to find a charater that stands out takes too much time. I belive the game generates its own new drivers and characters over time.

-I think you want to do the opposite of normalising, the AI it self is not smart enought to beat you with strat and with chaotic skill sets, you actually do the MANAGING and PLANING.

I would love this with some sponsor mods i use and even though it wouldn't conflict with anything, it seems it doesnt work with any other mod. Looks interesting though.

I'd been thinking about what to do about all of the characters. Yes, it's a ton, but scouting and discovering new talent is fun, no? It makes you wonder why you don't have to scout out new Mechanics and Designers.

My thoughts for this though is to see if I can modify their birthdates so that far fewer drivers will appear in the list initially, but as time goes on, more and more will appear in the list as they come of age.

The skills aren't averaged, per se. Each stat was randomized and then slightly normalized to take in to consideration the improved learning rate.

I wasn't aware that the characters weren't colourful enough. I suppose I could also randomize appearance and uniforms too?

Good mod in general but I have too much to say and not enough lines so here a summary

-More Characters for hire – DOUBLE THE ACTION!!
-All Characters can level up – TRIPLE THE EXCITEMENT!!!
Con’s
-Too dam many Characters – Please don’t make this china
-Characters skills are averaged and no longer unique – Is this communism?
Notes,
-Keep the good parts there
-20~40 Characters to select from would be nice
-I would like to see more colourful characters, not Tom, Dick and Lee cut and paste 100 times.

@Xiz - That would be either the drivers, mechanics, or engineers .txt files. The 5 Stat potential is a combination of experience, potential and Improvability.

@Levicivita-JohnL - yeah...it only works for existing teams. I'm not sure how to get it to work on new teams. If anyone has any ideas I'm willing to fix it.

Doesn't this mod work with "Creating new team" career?

I started new career with building new team and found that I start with lv1 factory and design center.
Checked if the mod is functioning and worked perfectly fine on new career with existing team,

How can I check this is only work for exisiting team or just the starting HQ of this career does not affected by the mod?

Nothing has changed with this mod active on a new career. I started with Predator and the drivers have the same stats, histories, traits, etc. Factory and design center are unchanged. (factory lvl 1), same price to upgrade. No new drivers or mechanics. All the text files are in the folder and the mod is active but, no changes in game. Both drivers still have a history with mechanic and contracts that expire in 2017. It is the only mod besides longer practice and qualifying.

@Rafa It's not EVERYONE...but it is a lot of them...like 70% or so. But still, it will take the better part of the a decade for people to reach that 5 star potential. And, unless you're willing to pay like 1.5 mil per race per driver, they're going to be out of your price range. It balances out, somewhat.

Plus, even though many drivers will have 5 star potential, they'll never reach that 5 star rating because they'll peak before they can reach it. Peak age was increased slightly, but peak age was randomized on a fairly sizable range.

@GoldKnight Play the game with my Mod for 10 seasons, escalating up the championships. After ten seasons ask yourself this question: does this design change in the Mod make the game worse, better, or the same? if it's better or the same, then I've made the correct decision. if worse, then I'd love to see and read your justifications.

game mechanic is poor on the design side? Please tell me which F1 team ,or any other team of any racing series, evolving without the use of money. Money is connected with the evolution of any team, since ever. Who has more money can invest more, easy :)

Does this randomize the drivers/staff every time you start a new career, or is it just a new fixed database with different names/traits/ratings? i.e. does it randomize every new career?

Yes, it requires you to start a new career.
It might be compatible with the .dll change...this mod doesn't change any .dlls or .asset files.

Once you have the mod downloaded, go to this directory and delete the HQ.txt:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\415200\1098796899\Databases
Then start a new game.
