@Buttonmasher50 I know I didn't make this mod, but I'm gonna guess that it doesn't change. I mean, when it's named stone of barenziah it's still a quest item.
RustyEngines 3. nov. 2015 kl. 13:09
does it work with DLC?
_DrSpaceman_ 9. juli 2014 kl. 9:26
Can you do this for the Bloodskal Blade? I can't seem to drop mine and prefer to travel with only like 40 lbs of gear.

for those wondering there is one amulet of talos that is a quest item its on the man who is being beheded when you enter solutude I took it with out thinking then I wonder:why cant I drop this you talk to some child on solutude and you get the quest
MrMeows 4. juni 2013 kl. 17:02
Why does this change Amulet of Talos' weight? It's not a quest item... is it?
marbacc 20. mar. 2013 kl. 2:19
Could you please do this for the witch heads thank you

Agree with Captain Peelz. Need this for insurance lest these items become weighted after each quest is completed but you still cannot drop/sell/store them. Sub & fav'd.
Captain Peelz 20. feb. 2012 kl. 0:57
fyi quest items do not add any weight even if it says so until the end of the respective quest, after which you should be able to treat it as a normal item. but many items are bugged and do not allow u to drop them, then this mod would play a part
Kilrathi 18. feb. 2012 kl. 13:21
Question - Does the Unusual Gem's weight stay 0 even when it becomes renamed to the "Stone of Barenziah"?
Domba 17. feb. 2012 kl. 16:55
@faxey, turn that bow into a guy on a farm outside of riften
Lofll 17. feb. 2012 kl. 8:37
Why would anyone want this? It is purely cosmetic. The real problem is that quest items cannot be dropped. I'm still searching for a mod that fixes this problem.
Aitia 16. feb. 2012 kl. 6:52
Does this mod include the quest bow that you find somewhere in the sewers of Riften? (I forgot it's name, but its a bow which belongs to someone and you cannot drop it, and it weighs quite alot)
phrae 15. feb. 2012 kl. 13:55
Thanks for including them all.

I changed the description text so its clearer for people - i'm still happy to change the weight of items so if you want others changed, just mention them.
PowerFang  [ophavsmand] 15. feb. 2012 kl. 12:03
@Wolfmark - you are indeed correct but it is interesting how having the weight value on screen effects people. I.e. the fact i even made the mod shows that i myself didnt realise this and it was annoying. So as i mentioned in my comment, this is now just an asthetic mod so people psychologically feel better about un-droppable quest items.
Wolfmark 14. feb. 2012 kl. 17:34
This mod is useless because the quest items don't have any weight. To test this simply drop everything except the quest items and you'll see that the carry weight is 0, even if you have 20+ unusual gems in your inventory (for example).
Salem 14. feb. 2012 kl. 14:09
definetly the elder scroll!
The Internet Janitor 14. feb. 2012 kl. 12:42
Could you add more quest items to this mod, such as the elder scroll (which is an absurd 20 pounds) so that it is a bit more comprehensive? Already this is a step in the right direction!
Rodgers 14. feb. 2012 kl. 3:15
hey man heres one. i think its the amulat of talos, i cant remove it and iv wouned up with two of them lol
PowerFang  [ophavsmand] 13. feb. 2012 kl. 12:35
I guess you can call this an asthetic mod then - i also just ran a test and the weight does seem to be just for looks for quest items - atleast for the Unusual Gem's that is. I would love to know how i wasted your time though lol :)
Bruce Wayne 13. feb. 2012 kl. 8:20
Well you wasted your own time, and mine because quest items only appear to have a weight but do not effect the encumbrence on your charactor.
Frurry Fluno 13. feb. 2012 kl. 6:52
yeah, i`m 100% sure all quest items dont add to encumberance, despite the weight figure
PowerFang  [ophavsmand] 13. feb. 2012 kl. 6:12
Updated to include Nattlebane and the Black Briars Keg

Yes the gems and the stones are the same thing in regards to the creation kit so they will still be 0 weight.
BlackEagle 13. feb. 2012 kl. 6:06
Does this also work when the gems are updated to Stones of Barenziah?
anonymous 13. feb. 2012 kl. 3:23
There is a quest to move a keg of black briar mead around, which weighs 20, and i think nettlebane the dagger weighs 10 which I have been carrying around for like 30+ hours now. It should be all in one mod though.
Flam 13. feb. 2012 kl. 1:42
Weren't quest items already automatically weightless, despite what the UI says?
