First time used funnel crouch glitch, but it's too easy. Second time was experimenting with the cube and button, and then solved everything by just accidentally placing a portal lol:steamthumbsup:

Very clever puzzle

Using the reverse funnel to get to the inside the fizzler room to then shoot the laser into the cube and then take the funnel to the end was extremely clever. favourited

I forgot how good this one is

beautiful

I came back to this after playing another map that was inspired by it. This is still an excellent puzzle; fairly simple solution, but elegant and not easy to see intended solution ?
_L 22. juli 2024 kl. 12:15
complicated, but I was able to figure it out. It worked 3 or 4 times. Very cool
Muzozavr 23. mar. 2024 kl. 10:43
Used reversed funnel. My solution would be OK even if the pit was goo, so seems like it was the intended solution. Clever shuffling around and disabling the fizzler from different vantage points . Not as hard as a few of the previous levels in RedSilencer's collection. ;)

Awesome puzzle! My solution used the pulling funnel. Not sure how to do without it.

This was really good.

Excellent!!!
CoffeeCoder 10. apr. 2022 kl. 9:36
Nice one, I used the reversed funnel. I have no idea how you would solve it without it.

Very fun puzzle! Here's my blind run: https://youtu.be/6hafUA6T54o

Yep, the intended solution is still brilliant :)

I think you should fix a couple of things...
Reverse funnel button is never used

You know a puzzle is gonna be good when it has both the author's name and ''original'' in the title. Indeed, it did not disappoint. Faved :)

Check out another remake, Exchange by Mathey2009, it's cool too https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=106472369

Totally unintended so no spoilers, just fun https://youtu.be/3_Awm2j-6rQ

One of the best chambers out there IMO. Perfect design, reuse of elements and difficulty for pure enjoyment. Favorited!
Joric 4. juni 2018 kl. 11:29
Very clever, slowed me down for a while.
Nobody No-One 14. maj 2018 kl. 20:57
I enjoyed it. Nice use and reuse of space and elements.
bullfrog 1. mar. 2018 kl. 2:17
This is still one of my all time favourite puzzles. I’ve just played Mathey2009 version of this, Exchange, which builds a bit on your ideas and, imo, is a good version. I just read that back in May last year I said “Thumbs up and favourite intended solution”, but it looks like I forgot to hit the ‘Favourite’ button; this has now been rectified :)

what a clever puzzle. hats off. :p2blue:favorite:p2cube::p2orange:
Benzolamps 20. aug. 2017 kl. 1:58
I can finish it without reversing the funnel. Just stand on the cube, then jump into the funnel then grab the cube quickly.
Libbybapa 30. juli 2017 kl. 22:26
Very good puzzle. Thanks.
Petutski 25. maj 2017 kl. 16:30
Excellent map. Very challenging and fun! Thanks!
bullfrog 23. maj 2017 kl. 1:18
Brilliant puzzle, if done in the intended way i.e. the intended solution does not involve either you or the cube going into the pit - @RedSilencer’s comment at 22 Dec, 2015 points out an unintended solution. Thumbs up and favourite intended solution.
lfairban 21. maj 2017 kl. 16:01
Slick!
Veldrax 24. mar. 2017 kl. 14:17
Really cool map! Pretty amazing what you can do with so few elements.
qrioso 24. jan. 2017 kl. 13:49
Great map, so clean. I had to try for 15 minutes, then stop for 5 and retry and after another 15 minutes i got it. Very clever. Your maps are often medium/hard but very fun to play. Thanks for this.
akross.cs 24. jan. 2017 kl. 0:56
So, for the first instance you develop an idea which strats with "what if?" and then build the entire room that fits your idea. Thats pretty remarkable, thanx for your answer ;)
Azorae  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2017 kl. 15:10
@akross.cs All my puzzle ideas start with a "what if?" sort of thing where I think of a cool sequence or solution and generally work backwards to actually develop the entire room. All my maps are my own design except those where co-authors are explicitly credited, but I don't consistently put them out. I put one together when the inspiration arises. Thanks for the kind words!
akross.cs 20. jan. 2017 kl. 22:55
i really admire your maps, and i want to know what it takes to be able to think the way to create such a difficult maps. Do you do it complettely buy yourself or usesome kind of refferences, portal paradoxes or whatever and then combine all that stuff toghether some way? I`m not asking this to make my own maps i wantto know how your brain works in glory of science!=)
jandlml 20. dec. 2016 kl. 19:58
very excellent!
RedSilencer 22. dec. 2015 kl. 0:22
Good, but broken. Possible to jump onto cube and into funnel, pushing yourself to exit
D3M!5 11. dec. 2015 kl. 0:05
One of your best, one of my favorites..

Yeah I see why no goo ruins the solution. Other than that, great map. Disabling the fizzler four separate times in different ways are required to solve I I counted that right.

Try my SP map?

I finaly take a look at the original map (and the very nice hammer version too). Thx alot for this very inspirating test, I hope you'll like "Xchange HM"
Azorae  [ophavsmand] 13. jan. 2013 kl. 13:17
You described it perfectly, thanks. I'll add the goo back in soon. Thanks for finding that!
kg de muste la jumate 13. jan. 2013 kl. 12:35
Ok well here it is. You place the cube on the platform with the button while you're in the pit. Then later, you activate the funnel so it pushes the cube to you (while still in the pit) , grab it from the funnel, then use it to jump in the funnel (just jump off of it while on the ground and quickly grab it, not really a feat of any skill) I think you can also make the pit deeper to fix this. . I hope I described it well enough, if not I can make a demo I guess.
