Can the effects stack just for fun?
Shiftkitty 23. sep. 2017 kl. 5:46
Can you simulate addiction? Something like after three doses you start losing stamina until your next fix. Every so many doses, you lose stamina faster until your next fix. Eventually you need it constantly. Once your stamina hits bottom, it works on your magicka (or it does magicka first then stamina). Finally, it starts hitting your health, or takes it down to half of what it was permanently until you go to shrine to get cleansed.

Does this mod work with Nexus mods?
Kalona The Drunk Native 15. nov. 2014 kl. 8:37
never thought to look for triple-distilled skooma but i'v a mod you can make double-distilled & regular pretty easily, using moonsugar & charcoal. some require crimson nirnroot & some even turn you into beastform. it's actually called wolf potion but it require's skooma to make. beware if you're testing it as a vamp or vamplord.

Nice Idea.. I can see ghosts searching for skooma..

adicted in life.. and adicted in death, they search endlessly for skooma..

@Korsall Good idea. The mod has been updated with that in mind.
Jaron Kitsune 17. feb. 2014 kl. 17:27
Hmm... Needs Khajiit tailoring... They're supposed to be affected by the stuff differently after all.
Alaric the Visgoth 12. aug. 2013 kl. 23:01
@Freyzor: yes. The Skyhighrim mod does exactly just that. Just a heads up for future
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 8. aug. 2013 kl. 20:27
@zhaythorn This mod only affects skooma. Any mod that alters skooma specifically could cause incompatabilities. This can usually be avoided by putting this mod below in the load order of any mod that could affect skooma.
Crawl 4. aug. 2013 kl. 11:13
would other mods that alter skooma affects be compatible?
Crawl 4. aug. 2013 kl. 11:09
it says "mod that alters potions" woul the get drunk mod count?
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 5. juni 2013 kl. 9:46
@mike_k Thanks! I actually figured it out a few months ago and already added that feature :) It's a 25% speed boost for 20 seconds.
trad_k 4. juni 2013 kl. 6:17
I found this and thought it might help, it details how to get the speedmult to work.

I rated and favorite cuz i think this is the best skooma mod done, also using skooma could make the dragonborn invulnerable to random attack and when the effect end he take all the dammage in the mean time, so you never know when you might die if you use it in a fight 8D Can you make the visual effect last longer? And maybe, I'm saying maybe, using skooma could spawn random illusion that attack the dragonborn, and he recover all the life he loss from them when the effect end (illusion could be ghost)

Interesting comcept - however, since the Dovahkiin is effectively a demi-god, many things that have adverse effects to normal mortals seem not to have much effect on the Dovahkiin (the gray-beards' COMBINED shouts only stagger the Dovahkiin rather than kill him/her, the Dovahkiin can read the Elder Scrolls without preparation, and not go blind, the Dovahkiin is much tougher and stronger than any normal mortal, routinely shrugging off damage that could (and often times does) kill normal people (poison dart traps, among other things, come to mind), etc). With this being the case, why would it not make sense for skooma not to greatly effect the Dovahkiin (either positively, like the huge stamina/speed boost or negatively, like illigence damage or withdraw symptoms), and the reason it's still a banned substance in Skyrim is because everyone else IS still negatively effected by Skooma (like in the Redwater Den, for an illustration of Skooma's effects on normal mortals).

Finally, Skooma with consequences instead of a Stamina potion labeled Skooma. Thank you for this, downloading now.
OddGoth 6. nov. 2012 kl. 9:37
Can you make a Redwater Skooma effect like this only slight stronger please? Thanks! :)
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 6. nov. 2012 kl. 9:11
Thank you everyone for your support and getting this mod onto the front page!
OddGoth 6. nov. 2012 kl. 5:01
LOVE IT!!!! :D

Increasing movement speed was the first thing I tried. There is a spell in the creation kit that says it increases movement speed, but it appears to be broken and doesn't do anything. So instead, I thought regenerating stamina faster was a nice alternative.
Crunchy 5. nov. 2012 kl. 11:01
Is it possible to include an 'increased movement speed' effect like it was in the previous games?
Taythenight 4. nov. 2012 kl. 13:45
@cheeseman33 cool but instad of dameging health how abot stoping health regen
hephaestus 4. nov. 2012 kl. 11:56
thnks now the only thing that can make better is that in the last few levels of the addiction (4-5 days without skooma) it starts to damage your health. and that the only ways to get cured of the addiction is to either find a priest or to go ten days without skooma
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 4. nov. 2012 kl. 10:21
That's true, you do have a lot of stamina temporarily. But, there are plenty of drawbacks that make it a pretty big tradeoff. For instance, your magic resistance drops a lot. So, if you are fighting a mage, you're in deep trouble. Also, you temporarily can't cast any spells. There are also withdrawal symptoms that hurt stamina regeneration slightly for a time after you use skooma. Finally, Redguards already get the adrenaline rush power, which is basically unlimited stamina for 60 seconds once a day with no drawbacks.
Max 4. nov. 2012 kl. 7:50
its a good thing i like it but i consider it overpowerd becouse this would be an infinite power atack or bash or anything like thats it would make you invinsable for 20 secs wich will make this the strongest potion in the game
Sero.ps 4. nov. 2012 kl. 7:15
I like this, but yeah, actually having it illegal (bouty added if drunk near a guard, or such) would make it even better.
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 3. nov. 2012 kl. 22:58
Does not require Hearthfire, Dawnguard, or any other mod.
rylog9 3. nov. 2012 kl. 22:47
does this require Hearthfire? I only ask because most mods that cause vision effects now do.

Drink Skooma? You SMOKE Skooma, with some good ole' fashioned Skooma Pipes, it's right in Morrowind and more.
Mulqueeny 3. nov. 2012 kl. 6:46
Can't say I've done anything with Skooma or moon sugar in any of the games other than just sell it to Khajiit :)
Testicular Fortitude 3. nov. 2012 kl. 0:19
you should add a temporary speed boost too! maybe make it last a bit longer too, say, maybe a minute or two?
Boot Scootin Boogie 2. nov. 2012 kl. 14:48
The stagger effect is remminiscent of the brothel mission in Saints Row III. I can't aim for crap and attempting to do so is frusturating as hell.

Also, if you drink near a guard, you should make it so that 25 is added to your bounty. If it's illegal, they may as well enforce the law.
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 2. nov. 2012 kl. 13:54
By popular demand, withdrawal symptoms have been added. I also added addiction, but this feature is currently bugged in the Creation Kit at the moment and doesn't do anything. It's all set up, so if Bethesda fixes the issue, it should autmatically work fine.
Scuba Steve 2. nov. 2012 kl. 0:23
Nice mod, now skooma can be fun xD
hephaestus 1. nov. 2012 kl. 19:22
i agree with kleszyk make it so that if you dont drink one a day it damages you.
manpleaser 1. nov. 2012 kl. 16:14
I hated skooma in Morrowwind, but now i can hate it even more! Nice work :3
Pumpkin Spice Floofys 1. nov. 2012 kl. 11:39
Don't shoot arrows while high, kids. It doesn't work out.

But I'm so going to try that.
NocturnalScotsman 31. okt. 2012 kl. 19:21
cool stuff! look forward to making use of it bud
Freyzor  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2012 kl. 18:32
I did not impliment addiction in this version. However, this could be something I add later on.

I didn't modify moon sugar because it is basically an ingredient of skooma. However, there are some rare kinds of skooma that exist in Skyrim that I also modified to possess similar but slightly different dangerous effects.
NocturnalScotsman 31. okt. 2012 kl. 15:53
Great idea! So can I get an addiction from this fallout style??
would be cool to see a similar mod for "Moon sugar" & maybe "sleeping tree sap" and several dealers around skyrim lol
HereKittyKitty 31. okt. 2012 kl. 3:47
First comment! And I like the idea of the mod : )
