It should be regular stats but on contact to walls you make a paint splater of your team colour

but if you miss you are slower by 33% (for 3-6 seconds)

you need to do : on hit fills the screen of the enemy whit blue graffeti words and pictures xD or : mouse2 shoots a can whit graffeti on hit jarate efect :\

I think the spraypaint can, if it's going to be a projectile in the same fashion as the Sandman's baseball, should inflict Jarate on hit -- just make it yellow paint, it'll totally work.

You can't, because TF2 is a Multiplayer based game you cannot download weapons until valve puts them in-game.

On Alt Fire: Shoots paint that will explode and blind enemies (read the name)
-10 health (Because the alt fire is powerful.)
No random crits (^that)

maybe make it funstion like the demo's bottle o' scrumpy, hit someone with a crit and the paintcan smashes, and make all bullet marks and blood splats it cause be covered in paint (i know you cant do this personally, but maybe make the texture/models for valve to use)

I say this should not have any stats, but be a regular bat, but the player you hit will have a spraypaint mark on them in what ever color you choose to paint the can. It would last for the round, so everyone will know giant Heavy got shown up by a Scout (if you picked the default color or team spirit, otherwise nvm). Works on dead people as well, you could paint them. (hehe). You can also do this to your own team! Oh man, the hilarity that would ensue.

Also, there's something about the texture/skin (you know what i'm talking about) that bugs me. I think it would be cooler if it was a little metal bat, which fits the set a lot better. Also a foam-coated toy-bat would be incredible. I know this comment is really not productive since the bat is pretty much already there, but It just gave me a ton of ideas...

How about...
-90% (or 100%) damage
On Hit: blinds target for 3 seconds
On Miss: Hit (and blind) yourself. Idiot.
Or...
-100% damage
On hit: disguises target as target's team (only to teammates)
On hit: allows target to take friendly fire
On miss: Hit yourself. Idiot.

I think may ideas may be too unique to add into the game, but thought they were really cool, so i posted them anyway. Making a customized taunt for this item would be awesome. Maybe that's how the blinding effect woud come in.

On Miss: Hit yourself, ignoramous.
