I like the idea. It fits the Soldier as a character very nicely as you can easily imagine him bolting spikes to a perfectly working hatchet to make it deadlier. The only part I don't really like is that it almost looks too neatly done and that there aren't enough spikes. I like the concept a lot however. Great work.

+ On hit: Enemy bleeds for 5 seconds
+ Movement speed increased by 5%
-About 20% less damage
-About 15% slower attack
- When you use: About 40% less fire resistance

Make it separate from the equilizer by making it have its own effects and kill icon. Effects like bleed 2 sec and 10% slower swing rate and 20% more damege then a shovel.
