Take 3 is correct, yeah. :) Must've missed the 1:08 part. Sorry bout that... but for what you have to do in take 3, that is crucial in Dual Madness 2. :)

Reading your comment again, I don’t understand which “2 laser catchers” (that I don’t use) you are referring to. As far as I can tell, there are 4 laser catchers in total: One to open the exit, one to activate the two lasers and the pair that that spawns the second weighted cube, which I activate at 1:08 in my video. I have found two more solutions: take 2 and take 3 - are either of these your intended method?

Thanks and will do - looked at "Dual Laser Madness 2" first, but didn't solve it so came here.

Nice Bullfrog. You most definitely did not solve it intended. A clear way to know that, is that in the right side of the puzzle, there are 2 laser catchers. You never used them. In the real solution, they are mandatory. If you plan on playing the sequal to this map (Dual Laser Madness 2) I urge you to replay this map first to get the right solution, otherwise the other map is going to be too hard. You have to learn the principle of the puzzle logic which I expect people who play #2 to know.

Great puzzle, thumbs up, but, unless one of the buttons is only there as a reset, I’m not convinced I solved it by your intended method ?

Congrats Jandimi. :) Awesome! Good luck with nr 2. It is harder, but the concept is somewhat the same.

i cant believe it . i got it. took me quite awhile. i will have to try the other one
jandlml 22 Mar, 2017 @ 5:52pm
thats what i figured. i love laser maps but always struggle with the connections
LPChip  [author] 22 Mar, 2017 @ 12:06am
Yeah, thats the puzzle. :) Don't know how to help you without spoiling the solution though... So here's a hint that has most of the solution in it: You have to figure out how you can make the laser sustain itself. You have 2 lasers right? One laser to sustain itself, the other to use for the exit.

i can open the door 2 ways but both ways i still cant get out the door
jandlml 21 Mar, 2017 @ 7:10pm
well i can open the door but dont have enough time to go through. obviously doing something wrong.
jandlml 21 Mar, 2017 @ 6:28pm
i shall try

There's only one thing you can do. Get both cubes and yourself to the corner of the map and press the button to open those doors you're trying to portal on.
jandlml 20 Mar, 2017 @ 5:26pm
ah ok thanks. man that would have worked so well
LPChip  [author] 20 Mar, 2017 @ 3:57am
Hi Jandimi, that is by design. You're supposed to do something else.
jandlml 19 Mar, 2017 @ 5:21pm
i just started with this map and i think i have it set right to get the cube with the dual laser. but its not working so maybe im doing something wrong i cant get a portal in the middle of the grey part of the wall. it will go on top or on the bottom but not in the middle where i need it so the lasers will hit the activators to drop the cube

Very good, I like it!
Reminds me of a test from myself: 4 Connections
Had fun with it, thanks for suggesting.

Ah, right. I was worried I'd missed something important ^^

Great to hear Cooper Kid. :) The flap above the buttons is just a visible meganism for the puzzle. Once you complete a certain step, it disables the laser.

LP, that chamber was fantastic! I had a go at it last night and was stuck fast, so had to give up. My mind wandered in a particularly boring lecture today and I suddenly realised what to do. Awesome!

Just one query though, what's the flap above those buttons for? I didn't need to use it :/

Awesome. :)

It is indeed very interesting as I thought it would be. It's easy at the beginning, but when you think you've got the end, it's just out of reach. I never would've thought of using the lasers this way myself. It kind of reminded me of setting up a SR flipflop; I had a college about that last week XD (though I didn't pay much attention... that man was quite boring to listen to).

I didn't find any room-breaking solution. The timing is too short to actually get to the door without shutting the laser down, in combination with the fizzlers preventing portalling. The first laser cannot be redirected properly (too high). You can't exit without the three cubes. So... nope... didn't find anything but a good test chamber! :D

Very tricky. Took trial and error, mostly error. I got great satisfaction in making it into the exit.
